Recap From The Cursed Child

Hi readers! I'm Mia and I would just like to take this chance to say that the 'recap' (this chapter) is not really anything to do with the rest of the plot and book - although I do use some of the characters later on! You can skip as it's not necessary but gives you a reminder of the wizarding world 19 years after Lord Voldemort was defeated. *Book set 19 years after the Deathly Hallows*

Amos Diggory (father of the late Cedric Diggory) goes to Harry Potter's house where Harry is now married to Ginny Weasley. Harry and Ginny Potter have three kids together - James Sirius Potter, Albus Severus Potter, and Lily Luna Potter. Mr Diggory asks Harry whether he could use the only time turner left to bring his son back from the dead. However, Harry knows how dangerous messing around with time can be, so he tells Amos that there are none left, so as to protect the Wizarding World. (Harry and his friends broke all of the time turners - bar one that Dumbledore gave Hermione - in the Order of the Phoenix)

Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy (Draco's son) find the remaining time turner at the Ministry for Magic. Hermione Granger is Minister. Harry also works at the Ministry where he is the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.

Amos lives at St Oswald's Home for Old Witches and Wizards. Here, Delphi (Delphini) is one of his carers and affectionately calls him 'uncle'. Albus and Scorpius jump off the Hogwarts Express and make their way to the old-folk's home. Albus, Scorpius and Delphi then travel back in time (using the stolen time turner) to the Triwizard Tournament where they mess up the past and future several times.

Delphi steals Albus's time turner and travels back to the night when Harry's parents were killed by Voldemort.

Harry, Ginny, Ron, Hermione and Draco go to a hearing at the Ministry as their kids are missing. They visit Amos at St Oswald's. Writing appears on the walls and reads that Delphi is Voldemort and Bellatrix Lestrange's daughter (although Bellatrix was married to Rudolphus at the time). The parents manage to travel back to Godric's Hollow with Albus and Scorpius.

Harry drinks Polyjuice potion to turns into Voldemort. Delphi arrives and tries to stop 'Voldemort' from killing young Harry as she doesn't want Voldemort to 'half die'.

The past is reverted to normal and Delphi gets sent to Azkaban (she used the Avada Kedavra curse on one of the Hogwart's professors beforehand and also illegally used a time turner).
