First Day Officially

Mai had woken up very early that morning. She had gotten dressed in her uniform and scurried down stairs and outside the common room. She walked silently in the hallways as she made her way to the great hall. The doors were open and she decided to walk inside. When she did, a slight stinging sensation in her back. She ignored it as the hall began to fill with more students. Draco sat next to her as Harry,  Neville and Luna came over to sit with them.

While eating Mai felt someone's eyes on her. She looked up to see a girl with short, black hair was glaring daggers into her soul. It was time for classes, so she ignored it and stood up and made her way to potions.

As she walked into class, everyone was there except for professor Snape. She took her sweet and put on special cloves, as she would be working with iron materials. She wrote down her notes and followed her instructions carefully as she created a druaght of Peace.

Professor Snape dismissed them all and Mai stayed a little longer to clean up her table. As she walked out she was pushed against the door frame, her robe the only thing protecting her pale arms from the iron. "Listen here first year. You will stay away fron my Dracey do you understand" a sickening voice scolded. The girl from this morning, pansy, holding her to the frame. Until she pulled her robe. Making Mai's arm touch the iron, burning her instantly. She screamed a bloody murder. As if she was being killed in the most ruthless way. Pansy did not understand but kept her there as she burned.

Professor Snape and McGonagall arrived at the same time. Minerva pulled pansy from Mai. The girl fell onto the floor and kept on crying as a group of students circled around them. Snape lifted Mai's robe to reveal the burn marks. In some places her bones were visible. Minerva was horrified. Snape picked up the poor girl and took her to madam pomfry. "miss Parkinson. You will receive detention for this whole year. And 60 points will be taken from slytherin. And a letter to your parents and the minestry will complete your punishment." she said and walked to the infirmary.

Mai layed in the bed as she slowly healed. Her voice had given in a while ago and she past out due to the pain. Her cheeks we stained with tears and her eyes were swollen. Professor Snape had talked to madam pomfry and was told that she would have to spend the night.

Meanwhile Mai layed their, dreaming of what she had hoped her first day would have been like.
