Years later Mai turned eleven. She was sitting in the small lake playing with the flowers when a popping notice caught her attention. She looked behind her to see an old woman in green robes and a pointy hat. Mai stood up carefully. "hello young one. I'm Minerva. I have come here to give you a letter." she said "what letter" Mai asked sceptically. " a letter for school. Hogwarts is a school for witchcraft and wizardry. You can meet new people and new creatures." she said. "Mai" meleficent called. "go to your sister." Mai proceeded and went to aurora's throne. Meleficent looked at Minerva. "take care of her. I'm begging you." meleficent said. "you have my word. She can come with me to get her school supplies and everything she needs. Don't worry about money. I will pay for her. She is a princess after all" Minerva said. They walked to the two girls who were playing on aurora's throne. "Mai. Mrs Minerva will be taking you to get your school supplies. I want you to behave and be safe my darling" she said "yes mommy" Mai replied and hugged her mother. She held Minerva's hand and with a small pop sound they were in a place full of people. "here is a bag of money. I galleon is one piece OK. I will get your robes. You go find your wand and pet." Minerva said.
Mai walked into the pet shop. She walked over to the lady. "do you have any kind of serpents here?" she asked politely. "yes we do dear. Would you like me to show you where they are?" the woman asked. Mai nodded and proceeded to the room with different types of serpents. "take your pick. I'll be back at the counter if you are done" the woman said and left. She looked around and one snake caught her attention. A white snake with flowers on its skin. "I'll take you. You remind me of home. Such a pretty thing" Mai said 'mistress are you sure. There are other serpents you can choose' I said " nonsense. You, just like all the others are one of a kind" Mai said and picked up the snake "I think I will call you... Esmarelda." Mai said with a smile. She swiped her light blue hair out of her face. She walked back to the counter where she saw a boy with white hair but ignores him and his father. "looks like you found your match. Beautiful and elegant just like you." she said. This made the blondes turn around. "what is her name?" she asked. "Esmarelda" she said and smiled and stroked the snake's head. "that will be 3 Galleons" the lady said. Mai payed for the snake and walked out of the shop. She saw a place that said ollivander's wand shop. She made her way towards it and entered. She stood there and waited until a man came out. "My my. Such a lovely face to see. And your spirit can make the whole world a better place." the man said. He walks back and brings a box with him. "let's see. Unicorn hair core 14 inches." he said. She took it with her free and and waved it accidentally breaking a vase. "I'm so sorry." she said. "it's no problem. But I wonder." he brings a blue /Grey box. He opens it to reveal a want with a crystal tip and and an ombre of silver turning to black. "thersals hair and a black Phoenix feather core and a moon quartz tip. 13 1/2 inches." he said. Mai picked it up and a swarm of magical air blew around her. "that would be 10 galloens miss." she payed of it and went outside to see Minerva there. "looks like you have everything. Now let's get you home." she said and apparated them back to the mooze forest.
That night Mai packed all her things for when she has to go. She puts Esmarelda on her chest and went to sleep.
