Micah's POV

7th period. Well at least it's the last class. Someone tossed a piece of paper on my table. I glanced at Cameron wondering if it was for him, but he was focused on his work. I opened it up. It read: "I'm having a party Friday you should come. Pass this to the next person. Love, Christina." I folded it back up and passed it Cameron. He opened it, glanced at it, and passed it to someone else. I got a piece of paper from my binder and began writing. "Are you going to Christina's party?", and passed it to Cameron. He quickly wrote down his answer and gave it to me. "No." "Why not?" I replied, and slid it to him. "Idk" he answered, and continued with his work. Ugh. It would be nice to go and finally get out of the house. But then again, who would I go with? Yeah, no one. The bell finally rang. Everyone packed up their books and headed for the door. As usual I was the last person out. I opened up my locker and threw my books in it. I made my way outside and started walking. I could hear someone running behind me. I turned around. It was Cameron. He started itching the back of his neck and looked at the ground. "So, um, do you need a ride?" He asked. "Yeah." I said. We walked to his car and got in. He started driving. "Why don't you want to go to that party?" I blurted out. "I've told you, I don't know. Maybe I don't want to go." he answered. "Well, you should. I need someone to go with anyways...." I mumbled to last part. He softly laughed. Wow, the first time I've heard him laugh. He's usually so quite. "What'd you say?" He questioned. "Why are you talking so much all of a sudden? You're usually really quite. What happened?" He didn't answer. he continued driving. "I didn't want you to stop talking, I just wondered why your all of a sudden doing it." I said. We were at my house. He stopped in front of it. I got out not thanking him for the ride. I closed the door. Before I started walking up the driveway, he said "Be at the party at 8pm. I'll be there." Then he drove away. I smiled to myself. Oh my God, he never talks. What's gotten into him? Whatever it is, I like it. I went inside my house. My mom noticed my smile. "Someone's had a good day?" She said happily. "Yeah, what about you?" I asked. "Oh great." She said cheerfully. She had already had dinner made. She said "Come get some food whenever your ready." I replied "okay", and went to my room. I got on twitter. This was the only place I could actually talk to people, and not get made fun of.

Cameron's POV

I left Micah's house with a smile on my face. No, I don't like her like that. She's just a 'friend' I guess. Although I thought it was pretty cute when she technically said she wanted me to go with her to the party. What the hell, why not? I need to get out of the house anyways. But then again I don't want to go to the party. Because see, I used to drink all the time. It was the only thing that made all the sadness wash away for a few hours. That's before I discovered cutting. Which started about six or seven months ago. No one knows. I usually always find a way to cover them up. But anyways, I don't want to drink because I've stopped for around seven months and I don't want to start again. I'm having second thoughts about this. I can't start drinking again.
