Eric looks at us, a confused look plastered on his face, holding his brown shirt in his hands. “You want me to… what?” he asks, implying me to repeat what I had said just a moment before.

I blinked. “Well, Suzanne and I want you to come with us to meet my human friend Hunter.”

“No,” he says with a stern and harsh tone.

“Why?” I ask, whining. He lifts his shirt over his head and slips it on. I blush, looking away. Damn, he’s got a nice structure. I think and then shake my head, ignoring the thought.

“Because you’re crazy.” He said and scoffed. “Remember what your father said, you can’t leave the tribe’s territory. And humans are dangerous, no way in hell am I ever going to go and meet one. I’ll probably get eaten if anything.”

“No you won’t!” I yell in a quiet voice. “Human’s don’t eat Kidogos!”

“How do you know that!?” Eric shoots back.

Suzanne laughs. “Come on Eric, let’s go! It’ll be fun, trust me!”

“Hell no, you’re insane, you both are! Why would I ever go with you? You’re going to get me killed!” Eric yells.

“No she won’t!” I yell, defending Suzanne. “You’ll be perfectly fine.”

Suzanne puts her hand on my shoulder. “Annie, let me handle this,” she said and winks. She then stretches out her arms and says, “Let the expert handle this, no need to worry.”

Stepping back, I let her do her thing.

Suzanne places both hands on Eric’s shoulders, and leans in close to him. Close enough to where their noses are touching.

“H-hey get o-of me!” Eric stutters, obviously getting flustered.

I have to admit, Suzanne is not bad looking, she’s got a nice figure, and she’s definitely got a scary side to her where she puts herself in control, so I can’t really blame Eric for getting flustered. But I can’t stop myself from feeling a little jealous that Suzanne’s the reason I’m seeing a flustered Eric.

Suzanne stares directly into the brown haired boys eyes. “Now, you are destined to be Annie’s mate. As you know Annie is the princess of this tribe and now that you two have been paired together, you have to take care and protect the girl, whether you like it or not. If you refuse, well her father, the king, will not be happy.” She says, putting the emphasis on the word king. “We will be going whether you come or not, but it’s your choice if whether you want to protect her or not.” Suzanne finishes in a stern voice.

I look at her, this side of her is unseen by most, but of course I know it, and I look up to the way how she takes control. In truth, I think it’s amazing.

She girl takes a step back from Eric, one hand on her hip, the other by her mouth. She squints her eyes and looks down on the poor, scared boy. “Of course, you can always save your butt by coming with us, but if you’d rather not risk it, into the dungeon you go for failing to protect your princess.” She says and laughs.

“If the king finds out that we’ve gone all of us will be in the dungeon! Either way I’ll end up dead!” Eric yells.

Suzanne shakes her head. “If you come with us you won’t end up dead.”

“Yeah but if King Edward finds out that we left, he’s going to kill you and then me! Of course he won’t want to harm his own daughter so we’ll be accused of kidnapping her! It’s that obvious!” Eric yells back in defense.
