The brown haired girl's heart was racing. It didn't matter all the nine months she has been in that city, even people she already knew. Annelise was always nervous before going to school.

For her, it was like entering a forest full of wolves waiting for the next victim to devour in pieces. It may seem strange, but high school is really that. It's like a trial by fire.

As she passed through the large and vast corridor, Annelise decided not to go to the room at that moment. She passed through several rooms, until reaching a specific room that made her smile for the first time that morning.

The music room.

It was one of the only places Anne felt comfortable staying — of course, without the presence of other people —. It was a quiet place, just like the library. There were several instruments scattered around and few people visited. It was like a safe haven.

Before entering the room, the girl checked if an intruder was arriving at the same place. Seeing that he didn't, he closed the doors and walked over to his favorite instrument: the piano. According to her, "it is a classic and great instrument. For each key played, it seems to me that there are several different emotions"

First she played "Fur Elise", then the girl sang "Love Of My Life". But in the last chorus of the song, she heard a noise and noticed something looking directly at her.

Annelise looked around the room, and when she turned to check the door, there was Rodrick Heffley.

Rodrick left the house late in the morning. The boy's brother, Manny, made a huge mess with various paints. As if that were not enough, the mother left, the father went to work and the other brother went to school earlier. The person who had to clean up the mess was him.

It was one of the most traumatic experiences in that poor teenager's life. In addition to having to clean it while he wanted to get out of the bath, the child still had the audacity to pee at the moment. Of course, he did it on purpose to make Rodrick angry. And he did it.

After his mother got home, Rodrick had to run after the materials scattered around the stinky, clothes-filled room. It took about 16 minutes, not counting the time needed to catch the bus

Upon arriving at school, the drummer's goal was to immediately go to the classroom and not be distracted by the runners. But a female voice diverted his attention.

After Heather left her band — for some unknown reason — the three boys were looking for another vocalist for Löded Diper , but all the school posters were ignored by the others.

Until now, he was desperate for a vocalist and that voice seemed to be the perfect type for the band.

Curious to know who had the voice that echoed in the empty halls of the school, Rodrick decided to follow the melody until he reached the music room, where his expectations had come to an end.
