Chapter 4: Survival test

All of them come to the training fields 30 minutes early to discuss the plan.

"Alright, that was a great plan ttebayo," Naruto mention to both of his friends

"Now we just need to wait for sensei and do that thing, shanaro!" Sakura proclaimed it.

"Did you guys have breakfast first?" Naruto asks them. "I have, just before I got here, I ate some rice balls," Sakura replies. "How about you Sasuke-Kun?" She asks Sasuke. He just replies with a "hn." And nodded his head.

"Where the hell is he anyway, he always is late like this ttebayo," Naruto said with an impatient tone.
"*chuckled* You know he always is like this naruto" she replies it

Not long after that, Kakashi has shown up on one of that wood. "Maa, sorry I'm late *smile*" he tries to explain his excuss. "I got distracted by a cat and I was helping some granny walks to her home"

"THAT'S A LIE!" Both of naruto and sakura answered it with a mad tone.

"Well, now that I'm here" Kakashi began to tell again. "How about I explain the survival test shall we?"

They all nodded.

"Well, you see these?" Showing up 2 ring bells. "Your objectives is to get one of these bells from me before lunchtime. And if you fail, you'll be sent back to academy right away." his voice was kind of cheerful, but not his eyes, he stares them like he wants to kill them.

"But sensei," sakura cuts it. "They were only two bells.."

"You right," he replies, "one of you will fail, and whoever does, gets to be tied to that wood and watch us eating this bento." Showing up the bento with a smile on his masked face.

Kakashi seems suspicious, they didn't look like they haven't eaten, and he starts to ask them about it.
"You all have eaten breakfast didn't you?" He said. They all reply to it with a simple nod.

"You didn't hear my order to not eat breakfast?" He accuses them with glaring eyes.

"You only suggested, not ordered us not to eat ttebayo" naruto replies it.

"Fine," he said. "We start when I said so. And remember, if you don't try to get this bells with the intent to kill me, you won't get it"

All of the 3 readies as it can see that their face hardened.

"Maa, let's get started." Kakashi drawled. "go!"

Then suddenly they all vanished, leaving him alone in that training field.

"Good start" he mentions that they all were hiding.

While they were hiding, they intend to make him fall into the trap they have provided.

From the bushes where sakura was hiding, came a bunch of kunai, aiming at her sensei direction. He just watching it lazily and dodge it while he still on his pervert book.

"You might wanna think about your aim before you do it sakura" Kakashi drawled it, with an unimpressed tone.

"I wasn't aiming to you tho," sakura replies it with a chuckled. Then she jumps into the next hiding spot.

haven't had time to think, there was an attack from that kunai that turns out it was naruto who use henge no jutsu to turn himself into the kunai, and he throws some gas bomb and exploding paper.

Kakashi had to jump out and move to the branches to hide his presence. While he was been distracted, naruto and the others manage to find a new hiding spot.

"Not bad" he replies, that's actually quite impressing that they can do teamwork like that. "But that was not enough to get this bells" he noted.

"But enough to distracted you" Sasuke shouted. Then Sasuke throws some kunai and turns out to be a naruto bunshin and attack him and make him dodge all his punches while he walks back.

Then suddenly, with the power of sakura punch, she punched the ground and crack the field. And make him trapped. Then there was a shuriken throws at him and hit him in the chest. But Kakashi vanished, replacing his body into a wood.

"That's a close one," he thought, "it seems they better than I thought they were." He said as he gets down.

without him realizing, there was a trap that made his legs caught in a rope that made him drawn to the middle of the field. "Did they just set this entire forest with a trap?!" He thought with an annoyed face.

Then naruto and Sasuke attacked him with a wind style and fire style.

"Now naruto!" Sasuke cried, then a burst of wind roaring out naruto hands, rushing towards his sensei.
"Wind Style: coils of waves" he shouted.

"Sasuke!!" Naruto shouted at Sasuke and make him take a move to spell his jutsu "fire style: fireball jutsu" He shouted.

A combination of wind and fire jutsu directed to him

Then sakura added it with a blast from the exploding tags that buried to the ground and make Kakashi cornered.

"How?" Kakashi asked dumbfounded. They all just smiled.

"We have planned all this yesterday sensei" naruto announced it cheerfully.

"Yeah, we even make another plan if this plan wasn't succeeded"

Their sensei just rising his eyebrow.

"Yeah we just can't beat you without any plans, so we make it first and gladly we succeed," Sasuke add. "Pretty plan huh?" Naruto noted.

"And we got the bells Kakashi sensei" Sakura and Sasuke showing up the bells. "Does that mean we pass?"

Kakashi's eye widen in annoyance, and he replies "no, only you two who get the bells, and I said whoever doesn't get one, goes back to the academy remember?" Kakashi tries to mess with them.

"Well that's okay, here take your bell" Sasuke throws the bell to Kakashi, and Sakura does the same thing.

"We better doesn't get the pass, then leaving one of my team to go back alone" Sasuke declares his thoughts

"Yeah, I'll never betray my friends," sakura said.

"Well if that's mean we don't pass then that's okay, at least we still together ttebayo," naruto said it cheerfully

Kakashi shocked by what they say, he surprised.

"You know, in the shinobi world, those who break the rules are called trash. But.. those who ever leave their friends back are even worse than trash." Kakashi said it while he was smiling.

"I'm glad that you all can do this," he said.

"So that's mean we pass?" Naruto asked him

"Yes," while he stands up. "You all pass"

All of them smiled to each other and naruto shouted "YOSHHH then you need to treat us lunch ttebayo, Kakashi-sensei"

"Maa, I guess you were right" Kakashi replies.

Then they all eat lunch together.
