"bye mom and dad! i'm gonna miss you!", KYUJIN waved at her brothers and parents before lugging her luggage up the flight of stairs in front of her that lead to a huge mansion-like building.
she took light steps up the stairs since she was trying to drag up two huge luggage while also keeping her balance. her brother offered to help but she refused since she said that she wanted to be independent on her first day of school.
that was a big mistake. the stairs to the academy were as steep as climbing a mountain and it doesn't help to be having to lug two luggage up the stairs.
she pauses for a moment and sighs. "what school has a mountain for stairs", she sighs as she sat on the steps for a quick breath while resting her head on her knees.
"uhm, miss do you need any help?", SAN taps KYUJIN's shoulder. she looks up and sees a boy with a backpack slung over one of his shoulders. for a second, KYUJIN blacked out for a moment while she observed his features.
SAN coughs trying to get KYUJIN out of her blankness. "OH uh, yes please",KYUJIN replies in urgency. SAN obliges and carries her luggage up the stairs, KYUJIN taking slow steps as she observed him carrying her luggage. "woah he's cute isn't he", HYELIN says from behind, scaring KYUJIN slightly.
"OH MY GOD YOU SCARED ME!", KYUJIN exclaims, making HYELIN giggle. "oops sorry, that's a little habit of mine, I'm hyelin by the way", she says while extending an arm, offering her a handshake which KYUJIN accepts, "kyujin, hong kyujin", KYUJIN says while shaking hands with HYELIN.
"hey miss! i carried your luggage, I'll get going now!", SAN waves at KYUJIN and flashes his dimply smile.
for that brief moment, KYUJIN thought, maybe going here isn't as bad as I thought.

today was orientation day for all the students at 𝐀𝐏𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐈𝐓𝐄'𝐬 𝐀𝐂𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐌𝐘
students were scattered around mingling with their friends in the huge central park of the academy. they weren't too clear as to what time they would have to assemble but for now everyone was doing their own little things and making new friends.
five of the twelve girls who had arrived decided to chill in the girls' common room, which they found using a map and reading the huge signs on the walls.
"WOAH, you can speak four languages?!",SEO NARI asks JINJIE in shock and excitement. "yup!", JINJIE replies, grinning ear to ear. They were gathered in the common room, munching on snacks and chatting with each other.
