Zoom Class AU

All of the ultimate students were facing their computers and logged on for class. Monokuma started everything off with a not-so-friendly greeting. (This morning I drank Pepsi that was in a bowl with a straw.) Most people were wearing something more comfortable and casual than what they'd wear at school. (We had plenty of cups in the cupboard...) Owari and a few others were still eating breakfast. (So, "Why would I use a bowl?," you ask...) The only really odd thing was that Souda was with Gundham. (It just be like that sometimes.) The pink-haired one was wearing an over-sized black hoodie and shorts, while Gundham was wearing something similar, but in his size. (Also, I will be going by they/them now.) Plus, neither of them looked fully awake. It seemed as if Kazuichi was going fall asleep any minute. (Can you guys help me with a new name for myself, I'm having a hard time thinking of one on my own...) In fact, he was even leaning on Gundham's side with his head on the other's shoulder. (Thank you! And I haven't told my family about this so it's top secret!) It took everyone a moment to notice Gundham and Souda, but when they found them, they were a bit more than just curious.

"I didn't know that the two of you are dating." Koizumi spoke up before anyone else could say anything. She was wearing a long sleeved mint green sweater with a pair of turquoise shorts. Souda at that moment shot up straight and scurried away from the man who sat right beside him, seemingly more awake than he was before just a few seconds ago. "Though, I can't actually say I'm really surprised that the two of you-"

"We're not dating! We're just really good friends, that's all!" The mechanic explained, certainly not convincing anyone. Gundham, not as awake as his boyfriend, simply nodded in agreement. Finally deciding to move on from the topic at hand, Monokuma changed the subject.

"Alright, kiddos! Now, who did the homework?" The teddy bear asked his students. Mikan shook her head then stared at the other's screens, looking for their responses. The nurse was wearing a lavender loose t-shirt with laced light pink shorts. All the students were mostly confused. "Seriously? No of y'all did the homework, absolutely no one?" Mikan shook her head once more.

"We had homework?" Ibuki responded, not directly answering his question. She was dressed in a dark blue shirt that fell over one shoulder and sweatpants. Monokuma groaned and slid back in his black, leather, spinning chair.

"I read that fan-fiction Nekomaru wrote, does that count as I did homework?" Hinata raised his hand in question. He was wearing a plain white shirt and sweatpants, as well. (I am using a random generator for names, so if this oneshot doesn't make sense, that's why.)

"I read half of the first book of Twilight, is that what we were supposed to do?" Nagito asked, smiling with HOPE. He was content being dressed in casual over-sized white shirt, a green cardigan with black shorts. Monokuma shook his head, and sat back up, disappointed in his children.

"No, did any of ya do the math homework I assigned?" Monokuma questioned them, putting his paws together as if in prayer. Twogami pushed up his glasses, looking as sophisticated as always. He was dressed in what he usually wore to school. By now, Souda had relaxed more and was sitting back in his chair comfortably, fairly close to his goth partner.

"Ibuki read all one-hundred and twelve chapters of Teruteru's Harry Styles fan-fiction. Does that count as doing the Literature homework?" Ibuki raised a question to the bi-colored bear's attention.

"I only assigned y'all math homework, so, no, not at all." Monokuma replied, folding his arms over his chest and trying to resist the urge to kill these kids.

"Wait. We had Literature homework, I only did the math homework that was assigned." Souda started flipping through his notebook that most definitely did NOT have any homework in it.

"Okay, good. Someone actually did do the math homework I assigned, which was the ONLY thing I assigned." Monokuma sighed out of relief. "I would give ya a gold star if I had one."

"I want a gold star!" Sonia smiled expectantly. She was simply happy in wearing a teal sweater and black sweats. Monokuma went on to tell everyone, "Ya ain't gonna get a gold star, ya didn't do the homework!" or something close to that.

"That's no fair! Ibuki wants a gold star, too!" She pouted, crossing her arms and looking away from the screen.

"If ya kiddos really want a gold star, go kill for 'em!" Monokuma exclaimed, it wasn't the kind of motive he would usually give, but... if these kids really want a gold star then go for it, y'know?

"I don't think we should ignore da fact dat Souda and da emo one are dating. Why are we just sweepin' dis one under da rug?" Fuyuhiko asked, slouching in his seat. Along with Twogami, he was wearing what he usually wore.

"Nah, we're just friends!" Souda reassured him. Koizumi sat up straight and narrowed her eyes at the mechanic.

"If you two are 'just friends,' then why did I find you two making out in the janitor's closet?" The red-head inquired, looking into Souda's soul with just her eyes.

"Yeah, we're just really good friends...? Really good friends do that, right?"

"Souda, no," Sonia began, "I find it hard to believe that my two good friends are just good friends."

"Wh-what are ya guys talkin' about!?" Souda exclaimed, flinching as his dear friend called him out.

"We're saying is that you're GAY, shirt-for-brains!" Hiyoko snapped, pointing at her video camera. Now, Hiyoko was at that time wearing: an orange and yellow sweater that made it so you couldn't see if she was wearing pants or not.

"Yes, shark mortal," even Gundham himself agreed, "we are, what the others say are not the most false."

"You're agreeing with them!?" Souda groaned and Gundham nodded.
