Apparently, not a lot of people know what the word, "oui," means. So let me give you a small French lesson.

Oui = Yes

Bonjour = Good morning (as a way of entering a conversation)

Bonsoir = Good evening (as a way of entering a conversation)

Bonne journée = Have a good day (exiting a conversation)

Bonne soirée = Have a good evening (exiting a conversation)

Bonne nuit = Good night (exiting a conversation)

Salut = Hi/Hello/Bye/Goodbye

Comment ça va = How are you doing

Garçon = Boy

Fille = Girl

Femme = Woman

Homme = Man

Chat = Male cat
