"GABBY." I heard a high squealed voice and shot my head up to see a familiar blonde running in my direction. She threw her arms around me as soon as she was close enough.
"Mia. I can't believe we're finally meeting each other after all this time."
"I know. Do you remember that one video call we had past midnight and your picture fell down?" Mia started to chuckle as she was reminiscing. I just nodded my head, feeling a smile creep on my lips at the memory. "I swear you actually shit yourself. Your phone flew across the room."
"You know what? I think that house was haunted."
"That is so cool." Mia replied as we began to stroll to the entrance of the high school.
"It still scares me that you're into all this paranormal stuff."
I took out my schedule as we made our way through the hallway, chattering away to each other. We were already a few weeks into the semester, meaning I was already behind on the content.
