The sun had already rised. After the nightmare Ziana had, she couldn't find herself to go back to sleep. The trembling of her hands had ceased, yet she can still feel goosebumps everytime she thinks about the nightmare.

Sleep deprived and annoyed, Ziana rised from her bed and went to the bathroom to do her usual morning routine.

They said that dreams are nothing more than electrical brain impulses that pull random thoughts and imagery from our memories. However, there's also some theory that states dreams are unconsciously repressed conflicts or wishes, though others may also interpret it as a premonition of what's to come.

As a hero, Ziana must always be ready to face it. And she was determined she can overcome whatever it may be. She thinks, determined.

Lost on her thoughts, Ziana heard a loud knock on her door.

"Milady? Breakfast is ready. Your father and brothers are already there." A firm yet gentle voice called out. It was Ziana's old butler, Ingram.

"I'll be there in a moment."

"I shall wait for you here Milady." Ziana heard him reply.

Ingram has been her guardian ever since she was young. He was always been there to support her, especially when she was feeling down.

She smiled as she reminisces the first time he made her favorite blueberry cheesecake. It always made her feel better whenever she ate the desert. Ziana was never close to her father. So she had already considered Ingram as her second father.

Ziana washed her face in the sink, and made herself presentable. She stared at her reflection in the mirror as she brushed her hair. She has smooth silver locks that she got from his father's side. It's beautiful, yet some might even say it was unusual. She couldn't blame their awe. After all, only the Eversons had this unique trait.

But what Ziana loves the most, is her clear azure eyes that she got from her mother's ancestry. It was the only feature she had that reminds Ziana of her late mother. She loves the way it somehow glimmers- especially when it hits the sunlight. Although, her eyes lacked the usual luster, and instead, it looked a bit gaunt and tired from the lack of sleep.

Ziana slapped her cheeks. "Get your grip together, Alessandra Ziana." She murmurs as she rubs her now pinkish and aching cheeks. Alright! Since it's one of her rare day offs, Ziana decided she's gonna enjoy this day, no matter what! No training. Relax just for this day.

Ziana wore a plain yet elegant white dress. She paired it off with two white ribbons, one in each side of her hair. And finally, a simple azure-colored stud earrings to match her eyes, and wristwatch to finish it off. She twirled her dress and was satisfied  on the way it looks. Finally done, Ziana left her room and went straight to the dining room together with Ingram.

"Milady, is there something wrong? I feel like you seem a bit off today." He comments as he notices barely noticeable dark circles under her eyes. Ingram may be old, but his eyesight hadn't failed him yet. He could see how sleep deprived Ziana was today.

"I'm okay Ingram." Ziana smiles a bit. "Had a bit of a nightmare. But I'm fine now." She reassures him and waves off his concern. Ingram didn't looked a bit convinced but he still gave in. He sighed and reminded himself to make her some chamomile tea later.

They arrived at the dining hall. Ziana's father had already seated on the end of the table. Her twin brothers, Alaric and Zavierre, took a seat beside each other and on the left side of their father. Zavierre looking a bit bored whilst staring at basically anywhere except the scene before him, and Alaric had the same serious and stoic face like their father. Ziana took a seat to her father's right side.
