Holy shit, I'm so sorry this is so late!

Next thing Lloyd knew was that the sun was up and shining through the curtains onto the bed, and that Kai was trying to slowly maneuver himself out of bed.

"Wha' are you doin'?" He heard himself say, mumble, groan, whatever, and he felt Kai still on the bed.

"I'm just getting up, go back to sleep, okay?"

Lloyd sighed and fumbled around for Kai, hooking his hand around his neck, and pulled him in for a kiss. It was slow and messy and disgusting since neither of them had really brushed their teeth yet and morning breath was a bitch, but it was perfect and not only was Lloyd delirious from sleep but now breathless and giddy and it was probably one of the best wake ups he's every had.

But then Kai was chuckling and pulling away and pushing him back down, shushing him and running a hand through his hair, and Lloyd really had no other option but to sink into the sheets and fall back into sleep.

When Lloyd woke up again he was alone and for some reason felt significantly better than he normally did.

It was an odd feeling, not wanting to murder someone when he opened his eyes, but it wasn't necessarily bad. He heard himself groan and he sat up, rubbing his eyes and yawning, stretching his arms above his head enough for them to look dislocated.

The room was cold, colder than he would've liked, and as he threw some clothes, brushed his teeth, to make himself look an ounce of decent, he was shivering and rubbing up and down his arms to generate some form of heat.

Right, they were in the mountains with snow around them, it was going to be a little chilly.

But this wasn't freaking Canada either so it really needed to find a middle here.

Lloyd walked out of the room and immediately got almost tackled by a screaming Jay. He wobbled and supported himself against the wall as Jay secured himself on Lloyd's back, pointing down the hallway and yelling directly into his ear, "GO GO GO!"

So as any reasonable person should, he took off running, hooking his hands underneath Jay's thighs, and holding him piggy-back style. Vaguely, behind him, he could hear at least two people running and cussing at them, so really he should stop and just surrender Jay to whoever was hunting him.

But where's the fun in that?

"Outside?!" He called out and felt Jay nod behind him.

The front door was shut and locked, and they were steadily loosing distance in between them and the door, he groaned, and tightened Jay's legs around his hips, "Hold on!"

Lloyd lifted his knee and slammed it into the door, barely flinching when it swung open, and only tripping up slightly as the cold air rushed out at them (he was also acutely aware that he was only wearing a freaking tank-top and his normal loose sweatpants with no shoes) before running out the door and into the surrounding forest.

He glanced around, dropping Jay down a few yards into the woods and pointed towards a tree, saying 'climb' with a lot more force and conviction then necessary, and they preceded to both climb random ass trees for no fucking reason other than Jay charged tackled him screaming 'go' and Lloyd complied.
