So here I am. Staring down these three bad bloods. The one at the front the male I wounded earlier. They were quick to find me surprisingly. However all seemed hesitant to make a move. The two flanking the middle glanced to him before looking back to me, they were obviously scared under one masks. Was I that intimidating or something? "Are you sure this is the thing that killed Ji'Tao?" Said the one to the wounded males right. For a moment I was surprised that I understood it, yeah it was a series of clicks and backwards Japanese but I seemed to understand what they said. "Yeah, this is the abomination that killed him..." Said the one in the middle who seemed to glare me down. "Hey, why's it got the mark of Kayana on its chest there? Is it apart of her horde?" Questioned the one on the left which raised a claw to point at me. "No it can't be, her horde is more... Grotesque." Stated the one in the middle.

Taking a small step back I gripped my rifle a bit tighter ready for something to happen. "Well are we going to take it? I'd like to see what that device it has can do if it killed Ji'Tao in one moment." The one on the right spoke up as it stepped forward ahead of the others. To this I quickly raised my rifle and pointed it at the bad blood that decided to step forward, this made him stop in his tracks as he seemed to double take and slowly step back. "Well I'm not moving first." The one on the right said, the one opposite him quickly nodded. Meanwhile the one in the middle seemed to shake his head before something on its shoulder snapped up, a red beam placed itself from the bad bloods mask onto my chest. Lights in my vision began going crazy small boxes appearing around the object on the bad bloods shoulder. A blue fire seemed to project itself from the object on its shoulder and flew towards me. I was not prepared for this. As the orb made contact with my chest piece I was flung back into the tree the sheer impact taking me off my feet. All I could hear was just a loud ringing noise, like a shell had just gone off next to me. My vision was slightly blurry but I could clearly see the bad blood in the middle approaching me.

With a cough I lifted my rifle I had clutched onto with one hand and raised it. In my vision I could see a red line project itself from the muzzle of my rifle onto the bad blood, moving wherever I pointed the muzzle. Realizing what this might be I quickly shifted the muzzle to where the red line ended on the males head, and pulled the trigger. Through my green haze of vision I saw a very blue tracer fly through the bad bloods helmet and continue off into the darkness behind it, the crack of my rifles profile filling the quiet swamp. "Fuck you.." I coughed to myself as I slowly stood up. The two other males stood there as the middle one I had just dispatched fell to its knees in a slumped position, it's head hanging down, showing the back of its head that was blown out from the exit of the round. Coughing again I racked the bolt of my rifle and glared at the other two remaining males who seemed shocked.

"What the hell is that thing..." The one on the right spoke. The two began backing up before I raised my rifle again. The one on the left threw its hands up palms open as if in a surrendering manner. However... I wasn't feeling very merciful right now considering they just tried to kill me. Shifting my aim to the male on the left I sent a round  through his mask and out the back of his head as well, making him fall flat into a puddle with a loud splash as he went limp. Moving to rack the bolt of my rifle again the one remaining male finally gained the courage. Charging me it let out a roar  as it ejected its wrist blades high above its head. Putting my last round in the chamber I slapped the bolt down and moving my aiming hand higher up onto the rifle gripped it around the barrel.

It brought its blades down at me in a frenzy however it was rather poor form. Ducking to the side I got inside his arm span, and with an upward striking motion delivered an uppercut with the butt of my rifle, followed up by a jab of the metal plate on the back of it to its mask. The bad blood now dazed tried to step back but I wouldn't let him have an inch as I jammed the barrel of my rifle into the spot where the throat meets the bottom of the jaw, and pulled the trigger. A large hole was created out of the top of its mask, the blue tracer flying up into the night sky. The limp body began to fall onto me but with a push of a shoulder moved it off to the side to fall in a puddle of mud next to me. A slow sigh came from me as I racked the bolt back ejecting my last round. "What a great first day being alive..." I muttered as I pulled out another stripper clip and loaded my rifle. Pushing the bolt forward which kicked the empty striped clip out and but a fresh round in the chamber.
