Seb's pov:
The feeling was unbelievable when I woke up. Monty was sleeping next to me. His hair was on his face. Monty chuffed quietly. I didn't want to wake him up so I just stared at him. Then I heard that my phone started ringing. I answered. "Hi mom," I said. "Hey," she answered. "How are you?" I asked. "Disappointed," she answered. "Okay, what happened?" I asked. "You weren't here," she said. "What happened?" I replayed. "Dalia passed away," mom said. "I'm so sorry, but you know that she was old," I answered. "Yes, I know and I think that she is in a better place now," mom said. "Yes, she is," I answered. "We thought that I and Simon are going to have a commemoration or something like that today, she was so important to us," mom said. "Are you coming?" She asked. "Maybe, but can I come with my friend?" I asked. "Of course," She answered. "See you tomorrow," I said. "Bye," Mom said.
Monty started to wake up. "Good morning," I said. Monty looked at me with his tired eyes. "Did you sleep well?" I asked. "Not really," he answered. "Oh, are you okay?" I asked and took him in my armpit. "I think I am," he said. Monty's phone rang. "Monty Keates," he answered. "Oh hi, yes, it's okay, of course, bye," he spoked. "Who was that?" I asked. "It was Maria, Melinda isn't coming today, she's going to her grandparents," Monty said. "Okay, if you don't mind we're going to meet my parents today," I said. "That's cool," Monty said. "Our dog Dalia passed away so we are going to visit," I said. "Okay, when?" Monty asked and yawned. " In the evening," I answered. "Okay," Monty said and laid his head on my chest. "After that, are you heading back home?" Monty asked and looked straight to my eyes. "I don't know, if you want I can stay here," I said. Monty kissed me. "Yes!!" He said. I laughed. "Okay then, shall we go to breakfast?" I said and stood up. "Yeah, I'm starving!!"
Monty's pov:
"What if they don't like me??" I panicked. "What if I say something stupid??" "Calm down you little stressed bouncy ball," Seb said and laughed. "Am I a ball??" I asked and raised my eyebrows. Seb just laughed and hugged me. "You have to calm down, of course they are going to like you!!" He said. "But what if..." I was saying but Seb interrupted me by kissing me. "They're going to love you as much as I love you," Seb said and stroked my cheek. "Okay," I sighed and smiled. Bus stopped. "Okay, we're here," Seb said and stood up.
Seb's pov:
"There you are!" Mom said when we arrived to our garden. We hugged. "Hi mom," I answered. "Sweetheart, I've missed you so much!" She said. "I've missed you too!" I asked. "Here is Monty," I introduced. "Hi, you must be Seb's friend!" Mom said and shook hands with Mont. "Actually," Monty was saying but I cut him off. "Yes, he is," I said. Monty looked a little bit confused. "So nice to meet you!" Mom said. "So nice to meet you too!" Monty answered and smiled a little. Then my mom turned to me. "How is your girlfriend, Matilda, was it?" Mom asked. I bit my lip. Monty looked upset. "She's fine," I answered. Monty didn't look at me. "When are you coming to show her?" Mom asked. "I don't know, she's kinda busy with her studies," I said and smiled a little. Monty looked sad. "Okay, I can't wait to meet her!" Mom said. "Do you want anything to drink?" Mom asked. "I'm good," I answered. "I would love to," Monty said. "You talk so in a polite way, follow me, young man!" Mom said and Monty smiled to her. He didn't look at me. He's mad and he has a good reason for it. I have lied to my mom about him. I have replaced him. OMG!! He has to feel awful. Who even is Matilda? I have replaced my boyfriend with a lie!!
Monty's pov:
Why Seb lied to his mom? Who is Matilda? I followed Seb's mom around the drink table. "Here you go!" Seb's mom said. "Thank you," I answered. "So, what do you think about my son?" She asked. "He has a big heart and he's cute," I answered and then I just realized what I said. "Oh, I mean..." "Do you like him?" Seb's mom said. "Yes," I answered. She hugged me. I was surprised but I hugged her back. "It's okay, remember that," she said and I nodded and smiled a little. I chewed the words in my mouth: 'He is my boyfriend' Seb came to us. "Mom, I've lied to you," he said. My and Seb's moms eyes winced. "About what?" She said and raised her eyebrows. "About my girlfriend," Seb said. "Isn't it Matilda?" His mom asked. "No, I don't have a girlfriend, I have a boyfriend," Seb said and sighed. His mom turned to look at me. I waved a little to her. She hugged me and then Seb. "Aren't you mad?" Seb asked. "About lying, yes but Monty seems so great and I like him too, so about the boy, not at all," mom said. "How about you?" Seb turned to me. "I don't like lying," I started. "You didn't know?" Seb's mom asked. I shook my head. "SEBASTIAN! How dare you?" Seb's mom turned to him. "I panicked and I didn't want to hurt you," Seb said. "But you hurt both of us!" Seb's mom said. "It's okay," I said. "Well, I'm mad about the lying but I love him so at some point I'm going to forgive him," I said. Seb ran and kissed me. "I didn't say that I was forgiving you now," I said. Seb looked at me with cute look on his face. I consented and kissed him.
Seb's pov:
We sat on the garden table. "Look, Monty, I'm so sorry, I was so stupid," I said. "It's okay," Monty said and smiled a little. "I'm never doing that again," I promised. Monty nodded and took a bite of his muffin. Then he sneezed. "Are you cold," I said and I took off my jacket. I put it on Monty's shoulders. "Thank you," Monty answered and looked straight to my eyes. "Do you want to go back home?" I asked when we were done with eating. "How long have we been here?" Monty asked. "Almost two hours," I said. "Okay, I guess we can go," Monty said and smiled a little. "Let's go," I answered and we went to say goodbyes to my mom and dad.
Monty leaned his head to my shoulder. He yawned. "Are you tired?" I asked. "Kind of," Monty said and yawned again. Monty closed his eyes. I looked outside. Our bus was stopped at the station. When we continued our journey I realized that Monty had fallen in asleep. I just stroked his head and let him sleep. But when we were close to our stop, I had to wake him up. "Monty, we have to leave soon," I whispered and kissed his cheek. He woke up and blinked his eyes. "I'm so tired," he said and yawned. "We are soon back home and you can go to sleep," I said. "Okay," Monty said and stood up.
