"Steve! Wake up!" I hear Dustin yell, from the entrance of my room.
"Dude, what the hell?" I ask, even though it was more of a complaint. I rubbed my eyes, trying to rub the sleepy-ness out of them.
"Swimming lessons Steve," Dustin scoffs, rolling his eyes. Oh shit, I forgot all about that. Again, although today should be easier because the brats slept over last night.
"I'm getting up," I say with a sigh, getting off my bed. He doesn't give me anymore time as he heads back downstairs. I do the normal things I do in the mornings, burst my teeth, do my hair and get dressed. I was wearing a dark blue polo and my swimming trunks, since I agreed to help teach the kids. I then made my way downstairs were the kids were eating my food, per usual.
"Are you guys ready?" I asked, looking at the teens, scattered across my living room. They all give a simple nod, grabbing their bags. I then grab mine and we all head outside to my car. Once everyone was inside I started up my BMW, pulling out of my driveway and making my way to the pool. The car ride was filled with random conversations that really had nothing to do with... well anything. It was a hot summer day, the sun blazing down on us from above, not a cloud in the sky. It had to be at least 100 degrees, today was indeed a good day to swim. We soon arrived to the pool and everyone filed out of the car, walking to the entrance. Once there the same sassy brunette had us repeat the process of signing our names and going to the lock rooms. I set my bags down near a chair, taking off my shirt. As I do so I hear a flirtatious whistle behind me, causing me to turn around and look at Billy who was now behind me.
"Lookin good princess~" He says, licking his upper lip
"Yeah, don't call me that," I retort, crossing my arms at the blonde.
"Why not? It fits you well," He replies, with his signature smirk that caused heat to rise to my ears.
"Awwww are you blushing Bambi?" He asks stepping closer.
"N-no I'm not asshole..."
"You sure about that?" He steps even closer, stroking a piece of my hair out of my face.
"Hey! Leave him alone!" Adrain shouts, walking over to us. Her eyes locking on Billy, Billy then turned around and met her glare.
"I'm just talking to him," Billy claimed, smiling innocently at her.
"You don't need to be that close to talk to him," Adrain scoffs, setting her bag down. Billy just rolls his eyes and ruffles her hair, earning yet another glare.
"Well let's get into the pool pretty boy," He says, walking over to the stairs that lead into the pool. I reluctantly followed as did the flock of children shortly after. Most of the time it went as planned, teaching the kids basic swimming techniques. We also taught them how to float on their backs, which they all pick up on pretty quickly, except for Lucas that is. Before I knew it the hour was up and the swimming lessons were over once again.
"Ok, I think that's it for today brats. l'll see you guys tomorrow," Billy shouts, his voice echoing around the pool. He then looked over to me and once again invaded my personal space.
"You'll be here tomorrow, right Harrington?"
"Yeah, why?"
"Because tomorrow we're teaching mouth to mouth and CPR," He grins, once again swiping his tongue across his lips.
"That isn't swimming,"
"Well its apart of their lessons so... they must learn" Billy shrugs, like he couldn't control it.
"So why would it matter if I'm here?"
"Because I need a dummy to demonstrate on" Billy replies, making me once again go pink. I wasn't one to blush but for some reason I couldn't control it around Billy. He just smiled, not saying another word as he got out of the pool, walking... no, literally strutting away into the men's locker room.
"What was that about?" Dustin asked, walking to my side.
"Nothing..." I answered, getting out of the pool and grabbing my towel. They follow behind me, drying themselves off before we once again piled back into my car. We all spent that afternoon kinda just hanging out, we went to the mall were we ate and shopped. Later that night I found myself once again thinking about Billy... why couldn't I get him out of my mind... it was actually driving me crazy. It's just because I hate him, yeah that's it... I. Hate. Him... right?
