Lisa and I ended up running so fast, Jinie couldn't catch up.
Luckily, the ride wasn't too far from where we were, so it didn't take long for him to reach us.
"Yoonie the teacups are so pwetty~" Lisa beamed. I followed her gaze towards the rainbow decorated teacups.
There were a few people on them already, so the cups were all spinning in different directions while little, color-coded, strings of lights shined brightly on the teacups illuminating the inside of the hut the ride resided in. To say it didn't look fun was an understatement.
We walked over the man in charge of letting people into the ride. He was fairly tall and had bright blue hair. He looked like a kitty.
As he saw us approach, he flashed us a big bright smile.
"Hello! Tickets please." I almost panicked, but quickly remembered we had wristbands and showed them to him.
"Thank you! Enjoy the ride!" He said cheerfully while opening the gates.
Lisa and I rushed inside.
"Lisa we should go on da y-yellow cup!" I said and she quickly agreed. There were four seats in each cup so we're able to have our own seat. We waited as other people filled the cups before the ride could start.
Just as the blue-haired man was going to push the button, a boy about the same height as me, ran up to him looking extremely desperate and worn out.
He was too far away to be heard, but it looked like he was begging. The blue-haired man smiled at him before opening the gate and letting him inside.
I watched as he looked around to see which teacup was free. Unfortunately, all of the other teacups were full.
"H-Hey!" The boy looked around, trying to figure out who just yelled.
I started waving my hand and smiled.
"You can ride with u-us!" The boy happily ran in our direction and took a seat.
Now, since he was closer to us, I was really able to take in his features. He had big puppy-like eyes and blue highlights in his dark brown hair.
"T-Thank you...." He said shyly and bowed slightly.
'He has a stutter too?' I said to myself. My thoughts were cut off by the sound of the blue-haired man yelling.
"Alright! Are you ready!!" He yelled happily. Everyone responded by cheering. The lights turned off and the string lights on the teacups started glowing.
All four of us grabbed onto the wheel and began to turn it. We started spinning so fast that we saw nothing but colorful blurry lights.
I looked over at Lisa.
She was too focused on making the cup spin as fast as possible with a big smile on her face to notice anything else. Jinie was sitting back trying to keep himself still as if he was going to fly out the cup. The puppy boy looked like he was having a lot of fun too. Laughing his heart out while also trying to make the cup spin faster.
The ride didn't last long and we were soon making our way to the exit.
"That was so fun!! Again! Again!" Lisa bounced up and down.
"Maybe we should choose a different ride..." Jinie calmly said to her. He looked like he was going to throw up any minute.
"Jinie~" I laughed while covering my mouth. "Dat was a b-baby ride! Were you s-scared?"
"Of course not!!" He got defensive. "...Let's so find something to eat."
We began walking around to find the nearest food stand, only for me to notice that the puppy boy was still following us.
"Oh! S-Sorry!" He started to panic.
"Is there a reason why you're following us?" Jinie looked at him suspiciously.
"I..." He stopped for a moment to think. "I'm here by m-myself and...."
"You w-wanna hang out wif us?" I asked.
"If it's o-okay?" He nervously bit his bottom lip, hoping we'd say yes. I looked over to Jinie for approval.
"That's fine I guess. I don't see a problem with making friends." He responded while scratching his head.
The three of us cheered happily.
