He probably could have fought back, but he didn't want to draw attention. Besides, this foreigner didn't seem like he had a quirk. But before Deku could say anything to him, the guy hit him over the head with his globe, with a surprising amount of strength.
Deku woke up. He decided to assess the situation. Being held hostage by an unknown quirk less man. Intentions were also unknown. Location.... (He looked at the window. dirty, cracked, and covered up.) Unknown.
He sat up as quietly as he could. "I could go," he thought, "but then I'd never know why he did this." It couldn't Hurt to stay a little longer. But if the time comes that he needs to leave, he will. The man came into the room that Deku was currently in. He started talking and pointing at things randomly. He seemed... Flustered. And if he weren't so much older than him, it would be almost cute. Deku wanted to ask questions, but he knew that with the language barrier that that would be nearly impossible.
He realized that the doctor had stopped talking. "Had he asked a question? What was he waiting for?"
Deku pointed to himself. "Deku" he said. The guy seemed to realize that he was introducing himself."Bill" The guy said.
"Bill..." Deku repeated. It felt weird to say, not to mention it sounded weird. He could hear the doctor trying out his name too. For some reason, hearing the doctor say his name made him happy.
The guy pointed at Deku's arm. So he lifted it up and realized that he probably meant to look at the scars, not his whole arm. So he set his arm back down and let the doctor examine it. Some of the stuff he put on his arm was cold, and made him shiver. But that was fine with him, in fact, he didn't hardly notice, but instead felt really warm, like all the blood was rushing to his face.
The doctor left for a few minutes. "When would he be back? He just wanted to look at my injuries, right? So I can go now." He started fidgeting with his uniform. "But what if I'm sick, and that's why I felt so hot even though I know it was cold?" He was confused. He'd never felt anything like this before. And the longer the man was gone, the more his chest started to hurt. How long has it been? Ten minutes? Twenty? Or even more?
"Even though I just met this man, and he's only been gone for a little while, I feel so alone. What's happening to me?"
