Jisoo yawned. They just got off from the station and were now on their way to their school. Jisoo felt horrible. Her entire body ached and that was all thanks to her special lesson yesterday. Bobby also yawned beside her.
"What did you two do last night and you already look this tired?" Jinhwan frowned towards his friends. "I know we agreed to go to school together this morning but if you're just going to be like this, i wouldn't have let you come."
"Yah, quit yapping and just be grateful." Bobby said, looking annoyed. "At least i'm not late like this idiot over here."
Bobby threw Hanbin his murderous look while the latter just smiled at him innocently. Jinhwan sighed, feeling defeated. He noticed how Jisoo was being quiet and couldn't help but worry.
"Sorry Chu." Jinhwan grimaced. "I heard from Bobby that you're out late practicing for your swimming class. You could've taken your time."
"Don't worry about it." Jisoo smiled. "It's our choice to join you and besides as your friends, it is our responsibility to see you off."
Jinhwan smiled, feeling shy. It just so happened that Jinhwan and his team had a game that day. The school bus that they were going to use was scheduled to leave at 7 o'clock sharp.
"If you asked me, i wouldn't like you guys to come here." Jinhwan's eyes softened, guilt plastered all over his face.
Jisoo frowned. "Why not?"
Jinhwan didn't answer and just looked behind them where Bobby and Hanbin were still argueing with one another. Jisoo bit down her lip, understanding. She almost forgot that Bobby was once a member of Jinhwan's baseball team. He was their rising star. If it weren't for the student council, he would be playing as a pitcher for his team by now.
"Anyway. Thank you for the support." Jinhwan patted Jisoo's head like a doting brother. It was odd but he always thought of Jisoo as his own sister. Maybe because she was close to Jennie's age.
"Ah! Jinhwan from the baseball club is hitting on someone!" Hanbin screamed, cupping his hands around his mouth.
"Pervert." Bobby added, looking disinterested. "I didn't expect you to be this kind of person, Jinhwan-ah. I'm disappointed in you."
"Yah! What the f*ck man?" Jinhwan was horrified to be branded as a pervert. Especially by someone like Bobby who was known for his serious demeanor. Someone might really believe him.
Bobby smirked, feeling amused while Hanbin began to pull Jisoo away from Jinhwan who was left looking flabbergasted. Jinhwan knew his friends were just teasing but he couldn't help but get flustered by their mean jokes.
"That's for hogging Jisoo for yourself." Hanbin made a face while sticking his tongue out like a kid.
"Brat!" Jinhwan glared towards their maknae. "Wait 'til i'm done with this game. I'm gonna pummel you to death."
•••••
After sending off Jinhwan with his team, Jisoo was now on her way to the school corridors for her morning classes. She didn't know if it was fate playing tricks on her but her least favourite person at school suddenly showed up with her two other minions following behind her.
Seulgi spotted Jisoo and her nose suddenly flared, her monolid eyes turning into slits. She didn't think twice and decided to meet her in the middle. She paused when she noticed a familiar figure approaching from behind Jisoo. Jisoo noticed it. She turned around in curiousity.
"Oh no." Jisoo mumbled. Why of all times that he had to show up now?
"Hey Soo, what's up?" Lee Taeyong beamed towards Jisoo, waving his hand.
