Misunderstanding

The Birthday Party (re-edited)

"A brother!!!???!!" I exclaimed

"Ugh Lea!!" He groused, still covered in water and spit.

He grabbed a towel from the half bathroom in the hallway and continued.

"Yes, a brother, a twin brother. His name is Alex. Alex is still alive and I am gonna go get him from your grandparents' house. He is 15 and he's in another class. Even Parker knows about him and they are actually great friends. Everyone in this house knew except for you." He continued

"A brother? Wow Alex Macintosh!"

"Alex Asher Macintosh to be exact. Now, let's go back to you and Parker."

I ran up the stairs to my room before he had a chance to say anything more and got ready for Parker's party. I decided on wearing a dress and putting my hair in a messy bun.

I put Parker's gifts in a party bag and went down the road to Park's house. The driveway was filled with people. I met up with my friends Lennox, Avery and Cadence.

"Hey girl! Any tea since Friday after school went out?" Asked Lennox

"umm yea there has been. I can't say anything here but we can have a sleepover at my house next Friday cause I'm kinda grounded but I'll tell you the story later, get ready it's pretty long." I answered

"I can't wait!" Giggled Cadence

Parker came over to me, handed me a drink and said it was vodka. I drank up which probably wasn't a good idea. My vision became blurry and before I knew it I had woken up in a bed but it wasn't mine. It smelled familiar and then it clicked. It was Parker's. He came into the room.

"Hey, she's awake. Not dead, good. Anyway are you ok? You passed out and I brought you up here. Don't worry I called your dad and asked if you could sleep over and I explained the situation to him." He smiled

"I'm feeling better thanks. Wait, my dad would be really mad!! And, these aren't my clothes."

I was wearing a sweatshirt and some sweatpants (they oddly smelled a lot like that school jacket Parker had)

"Yea he kinda was. Oh and those clothes are mine. I told Lennox, Avery and Cadence to come here and help you change cause you threw up on your dress." said Parker scratching the back of his neck

'What time is it? Is the party still on?"

"It's like 3:50 in the morning and the party finished about an hour ago."

I yawned and he came over and hugged me. He kissed my forehead and I remembered his present.

"Oh I just remembered, Parker I got you a present."

"Yea, I put it with the rest, it was the only one I opened. Thank you for it." thanked Parker

"Your welcome, Good night"

"I'll leave you to sleep. If you need anything I'm right next door in the guest room." replied Park

I fell asleep and woke up at 5:20. I felt really sick and nauseous. I threw up in the trash can next to me and I texted Parker. He came into the room and comforted me. He stayed until I went to sleep and lay down next me. The next morning Liam came into the room and found us sound asleep. He obviously took a picture and sent it to my dad. I woke up and felt so much better. I found a few text messages from my dad and Ava.

I cleaned myself up a bit and left Park's house. I left him a text before I left.

Once I got home my dad put me to bed, told me I was not allowed to drink till I was at least  17, and gave me so many medications and a bunch of stuff.

"Honey, no more drinking alright, you passed out minutes after you drank. I'm gonna put you on a sick leave for school. Oh and Alex is coming over with Parker in a few days." explained Dad
