The two friends

Chapter 2

When Kaitlin and Elphaba walked into their room Kaitlin immediately jumped onto the bed Elphaba laughed and so did Kaitlin.
"So how old are you?" asked Elphaba
"I am 15 years old", said Kaitlin
"I am 15 too!" said Elphaba
They both looked at each other with an awkward silence for a few minutes. Suddenly they heard a knock at the door and Kaitlin ran to open the door, it was Galinda.
"Why are you rooming with this green skinned person?" She asked Kaitlin
"Well, I saw her sitting by herself in the main hall and I thought it over in my mind I would want to be her roommate," Kaitlin said with a smile.
"Oh," Galinda said and turned and walked away with a perfect skip. Kaitlin closed the door and Elphaba stood behind Kaitlin the whole time with a very disgusted look on her face.
"What is it?" asked Kaitlin
"Oh I don't get why people think that they can treat me like I am nothing, I have the same feelings as everyone I am just a normal girl. But just with a different color skin," said Elphaba
"You know I won't let them treat you like that and I won't leave you alone because you are prettier than Galinda Upland," said Kaitlin
"What do you want to do?" asked Elphaba
"Well maybe we can go and explore?" said Kaitlin
"Sure sounds good," said Elphaba
They walked out of their room and they weren't looking where they were going and they bumped into the two young men one of which Kaitlin recognized as the tall black haired young man from before.
"Oh sorry about that," Kaitlin said as she started to blush.
"Oh it was our fault," the one man said with a smile.
"What are your names?" asked Kaitlin
"My name is Fiyero I am the prince of the Winkies and this is Jacob," said Fiyero
"OH MY GOSH! Jacob, you are the God of the sea you met the Queen of England!" said Kaitlin with excitement.
"Yes," Jacob replied with a laugh.
"Well we must be off," Elphaba said and they ran the other way.
