Yuri's pov

I walked alongside this girl who was looking straight ahead, fiddling with the zip of her hoodie. She pulled it down and then up again.
"So why would your friends just leave you?" I ask, shoving my hands into the pocket of my hoodie.
"They do this sometimes. Forget that I get lost easily and just run off. I can't keep up and never know when they just leave" she replies, hands dropping to her sides. I turn to face forward again, looking for her two friends. Still no sign of them. We both stay in silence. I look at the large case on her back.
"What's in the case?" I ask.
"Oh. My fiddle. I was going to do some busking but then Skry and Ryn ran off so now I need to find them. I look at the case. It was pretty old and beaten, fabric fading and torn. She stopped at one point when the streets were less busy.
"Maybe if I just set up then they'll find me" she states.
"If your doing that then do it out of the way of others" I state. She turns towards me and starts walking. The empty area is the other way I tell her. She stops then turns around and walks in that direction. She reaches out a hand and stops when it touches the wall. I walk over. Might as well wait until her friends arrive. She kneels down and pulls the case off her back. She feels around the case before grabbing the zipper and unzipping it. Inside is a fiddle along side a mic and small speaker.
"Could you help me set up?" she asks. I reach into the case and pull out the mic, setting up the stand and attaching it before connecting it to the mic which had been put out.
"Thanks" she smiles, reaching out and searching for the mic before coming into contact with it and adjusting its height. She lifts the fiddle up to her chin and the bow onto it before gently moving it over the strings, fingers moving across the top. Her case had been put in front of the mic and left open as some people threw loose change into the case as they passed by. I watched as she got into the music, the bow moving up and down with a rhythm while she tapped her foot on the ground. It was quite enjoyable to watch and listen to.
