You were practicing sword fighting with Lady Sif when the royal guard interrupted the fight, calling out for you.
"Lady (name), the king requires your presence." You put down your sword and smiled at Sif.
"Perhaps another time, we may finish this battle, Lady (name).", she smiled at you. Nodding and waving goodbye to her, you followed the guard into the throne room, kneeling before Thor.
"My liege, you require my assistance?"
"Stand, Lady (name). I ask of you the task of watching Loki." Your breath hitched in your throat.
"I-I do not think I am capable of that, my liege.", you gulped, knees shaking.
"I believe you can, Lady (name). You will do well in your task.", Thor kindly smiled at you and you bowed, cracking a grin. "The guards shall escort you to his room."
With that, you were sent off to keep a trickster God in line.
