Those little flies that soothed me,that comforted me,
That lit up the cosmos, that twinkled in my sky
Though fiery and toxic thou art now,I implore thee
Come back as those fireflies of my velveteen skyWhen glanced far away thou appeared so close to me
When glanced through the glass thou parsecs away
On a cold winters night I looked up towards thee
Tell me dear fireflies why didst thee go astray?
