Okay, this is it. I love this story but I refuse to write anymore. It'll spoil it.

But this was requested, so...

Edit: Just to clear up confusion, Royal is the dog that King and Ram adopted. In that book, they adopted Royal later in life, so...yeah, I'm sorry about that.

I got my stories mixed up...I blame my fault in communication issues I'm having with my girlfriend mixed with exhaustion. If you want more, Royal was created in "Right Here".

Song of the Chapter: "Best Friend" by Rex Oranj County (cover by Grent Perez)

---------------------------------------------

It was a beautiful day, the sky stretching on for miles with the buildings of Bangkok reaching to collect the clouds from the cold air.

Ram walked along with Phu, both dressed in their best for the day that he'd been waiting to come for ages.

He'd longed to graduate finally because it would mean that King and he would finally have more time together now.

The internship, school, and King's promotion to the head of the Agricultural Engineering department at his work sapped all of their time together for the past eight months. It had strained their relationship but after the exams had finished, Ram had run to King's place of work.

There, the two of them had walked to a restaurant after King got off work, then went home and spent quality time with each other for the entire weekend.

Now, Ram felt fulfilled.

He had already received his diploma during the graduation ceremony and the hat and robes were still on him. However, it was hot and he had opened the robes and walked with his suit and tie showing to the world.

"Wow..."

Ram turned to his best friend. Phu was staring at the diploma in his hands with tears in his eyes.

"I...never thought that I would actually graduate," Phu spoke, turning his head to Ram.

They were on their way to see their families that were waiting in the area designated.

Phu's family had been surprised that Phu had passed the exam with such high grades, but was thankful to Ram and his boyfriend.

Ram had graduated among the top 5 in his class with Phu ranking somewhere between ten and twenty. He hadn't graduated at such a high spot with so many honors like his boyfriend did but Ram was okay with that.

King was special in his tactics of tackling classes and exams that enabled him to be on a level of understanding with his major that no one else had necessarily anticipated.

His boyfriend could only help Ram so much before Ram had to do everything by himself.

Phu, on the other hand, only had Ram and King to help him out whenever they were free, which wasn't often. He had fallen into a slump during his senior year, where he had struggled with getting to classes on time, getting his work for his internship done on time, and generally struggling with life.

Ram had to only talk to him once before Phu turned everything around during the last semester.

Ram reached over and pat Phu on his back.

They were both proud of the other and Ram had silently begged that Phu would never leave him. He was a good friend, a close friend, and later on in his life, a close connection to a different part of the world.

"Ram!"

Ram's head turned to see King standing with his hands in his pockets and a smile on his face. He was standing next to the rest of not only Ram's family but with King's family as well.
