Song of the Chapter: Dazed and Confused by Ruel
(Are the artists and songs I pick even that much of a surprise anymore?)

King looked around the entrance of the faculty, trying to see if his boyfriend was anywhere to be seen. He pulled out his phone and glanced at the time.
Ram should be in hazing right now and getting out soon, it was nearly six-thirty at night.
King sighed, looking around before gathering his courage and walking through the glass doors into the faculty building again. He walked through the air-conditioned hallways toward the basketball court where Ram would be with the other Engineering hazers.
He didn't know why he was so nervous, he had walked this same pathway so much, the soles of his shoes had worn down to almost nothing.
Why did graduating make him feel so out of place in the hallways that he and Tee had patrolled, looking for freshmen that had skipped the hazing activities to hang out with friends instead?
He reached the doors and looked through the meshed, glass window to see where they were in the hazing.
Ram was letting Phu do all the talking, per usual.
It was no surprise that Ram became the head hazer for his third year, his general aura was enough to frighten the freshmen but the kind words that he had told them when he needed to talk were so honey-coated that it was enough for Ram to hold the room by just being present.
Phu had become a hazer along with him and through that, was Ram's unofficial spokesperson.
Now, Ram was getting ready to dismiss the freshmen.
King took his opportunity and pushed open the door, walking in.
The sound of the heavy door creaking made the freshmen avert their attention to the entry. Normally, Phu would be angry that the freshmen had stopped listening to the hazers and curse at the person who had come in, but when his eyes saw King's smiling face, his voice went silent.
Ram smiled brightly and King stood off to the side, tilting the clear plastic cup filled with a bright red juice to his lips. He sipped it and raised an eyebrow at Ram.
Without another word, Ram left Phu's side and grabbed his backpack from the side of the bleachers before walking quickly over to King.
"Owh," King murmured, sipping the drink again, "You should introduce me to the freshmen...I am your senior"
Ram nodded and turned back to the numerous eyes that were staring at them and whispering silently amongst themselves.
"First years," Ram spoke loudly, "This is P'King. He graduated last year."
The first years waiied and greeted the senior.
"You can leave now. And Nong Light," Ram called as the freshmen started to stand up. The said first-year paused and looked at the head hazer. "Don't be late next time."
Light nodded and Ram turned back to his boyfriend.
King smiled at him, handing him the drink he'd been sipping from. Ram took the straw and drank the sweet raspberry lemonade, taking a couple of large sips.
Phu walked over with the other hazers to the two, waiing to King.
King greeted them.
"What do we owe the pleasure?" Phu questioned.
