I park my car in my drive way. I already know that my mom is going to yell at me for being gone for so long. I walk into the house and walk into the kitchen and start putting the stuff I got from the store away. "Mom is going to kill you Kac"
"Yeah I know"
"Why were you gone for so long?"
"Long story short, two guys held me up"
"Oooo were they cute!?"
Kelsey is my twin sister. We are identical twins. People still get us mixed up.
"Yeah I guess"
"Girls meeting tonight at 8 my room"
We have been having these 'Girls meetings' since we were 5. It's basically a slumber party in one of our rooms were we talk about random stuff.
"KACI JAY CELINE"
Great she called me by my whole name. I'm in trouble.
"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN FOR THE PAST TWO HOURS!?"
"Mom, please stop yelling. I got stuck in traffic and went down some random road so I wouldn't be there for hours but ended up getting lost and calling Kelsey to help"
I'm the worst liar there is.
I look to Kelsey for help.
"Yeah she called me and I gave her directions back"
"NEXT TIME STAY ON THE ROAD YOU KNOW, YOU ARE GROUNDED FOR A WEEK FOR SCARING ME LIKE THAT"
With that she stomped off.

I have been laying on my bed for hours now *beep* I get up and grab my phone of the night stand and read the text from Kelsey.
< Meet me in my room for the girls meeting in 5>

I get up and go to my closet to change into some pajamas. I grab put a pair of yoga shorts and an old volleyball t-shirt. I put my hair in a bun and grab my pillow and blanket off of my bed and head 3 doors down to Kelsey's bedroom. I knock 3 times then 4 more times in a beat letting her know it's me.
She opens the door and let's me in.

"I dare you to text that Luke guy"

I pick up my phone and look for his contact. After finding it i click message.
<Hey, it's Kaci>

<I didn't think you'd answer that fast>
<Are you kidding me I've been waiting like 6 hours for you to text me>
<Yeah, well thanks for you and that red head I'm grounded>
<His name is Michael and why?>
<Because I have a strict mom, and usually when you go to the store to get milk it takes you 5 minutes not 2 hours>

I wake up and go to my room to get ready. I walk to my closet and pull out a pink crop top and some shorts. The shorts are a little to big so I put a belt on and head to my vanity. I open the bottom drawer and grab out my flat iron and plug it in. While it's heating up i put on light makeup. After I'm done with my hair I walk over to Kelsey's room.
"Why are you so pretty"
"What are you talking about Kels?"
"Look at you! Kaci you're so pretty"
Kelsey isn't the best at doing makeup and hair so when it comes to stuff like this she gets shy I guess.
"Do you want me to do you hair and makeup?"
"Yeah, hold on. Let me get dressed first"
She walks to her closet and grabs a black T-Shirt and a pair of shorts with a white belt. Me and Kelsey are very small, we look like 8 year olds most of the time and it's annoying.

"Okay Kels I'm done!"
She looks in the mirror and says thanks before walking out of my room. I hear my phone going off so I run to my night stand.
"Hello?"
"Hey Kaci! It's Luke"
"What do you want?"
"I was wondering if me and Michael can come over!?"
"Um. No."
"Why not?"
"Because"
"Are your parents home?"
"No"
"Okay then why not?"
"Because Luke I don't know you"
"That's why I come over and get to know you!"
"Fine whatever I'll text you the address"
"Yay!"
I hang up and run down the stairs.
"Kelsey Luke and Michael are coming over"
"Okay!"

"I'll get it" I yell to no one In Particular
I open the door and see Luke wearing Basketball shorts and Michael wearing Black skinny jeans. No surprise there.
"Come in"
I wave my hand in front of me for them to walk in.
"Damn Kaci you didn't tell us you live in a mansion"
I never thought of my house that way to be honest. My house has 8 bedrooms and 5 baths. We have a big kitchen and big living room. Everything is always clean.
"How many people live here!?" The red hea- Michael asks.
"Um, well, Me, Kelsey, Kim, Kyle, Kayson, Katie, Kylie & My Parents"
"And those are your siblings!?"
"Yeah"
"Anymore twins"
"Yes actually, Kim & Kayson are twins. Not identical like me and Kelsey of course"
"Oh what are their ages!?"
Now me and Michael are sitting on the couch talking and Luke and Kelsey are sitting on the other one talking.
"Well, Me and Kelsey are 16. Kim and Kayson are 8 Kylie is 12,Katie is 14 and Kyle is 17"
"Wow you got a lot of siblings"
"Yeah I know. Now, enough about me tell me about you"
"Um okay. I don't have a father, he left when I was 3. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my mum, I hate my mum by the way, um, I'm pretty poor, we have enough To pay rent and put food on the table but that's about it, I'm 17, I like to dye my hair a lot, I'm not sure why, it's just cool. Um, I've done drugs in the past. I smoke cigarettes. Sometimes I smoke weed. I go to school believe it or not and I have all straight A's. I have no siblings. And my best friends are Luke, Calum & Ashton, that's about it"
"Woah"
"Yeah"
He closes his eyes and starts to lean in.
"YOU SAID YOU HAD A GIRLFRIEND"
I slap him and run to my room.
I would have kissed him but he said he had a girlfriend. And I've never kissed a boy before.
