Prologue

"Caroline Forbes?" a voice says from the phone in Caroline's hand.
"This is she," Caroline replies.
"I have all the answers you have been looking for." Caroline let's out a gasp.

"KLAUS DON'T " Caroline screams from across the square the two originals are at sitting.
Elijah is about to stake Klaus with the white oak stake. When both brothers stop and turn towards the blonde vampire.
Caroline vamps towards them since its late and nobody is in the town square.
"I found a way to save you," Caroline says.
"Caroline love we talked about this. I am okay with dying like this. Its quite ironic Klaus Mikaelson dying a heroic death," Klaus chuckles as he lightly caresses her hands.
"The solution is in Paris it's worth a shot Klaus," Caroline says.
" I cannot agree more," Elijah says.
Elijah hands Klaus the white oak stake back.
" I guess one more day on this Earth won't make a difference," Klaus says.

"Caroline are you sure we are going the right way. We have been walking for hours in this forest," Klaus growls.
"I'm just following what the note said that we received at our hotel last night," Caroline says looking back at the note.
The note said that there would be a small house in the middle of the forest. And there should be 10 oak trees that surround the place. So far they spotted their first 4 oak trees just 6 oak trees left.
"AHHH" Klaus screams in pain as he falls to the floor.
"Klaus," Caroline panics kneeling next to him.
"Thought you would never show up," says a woman in her 50s looking down at the couple.
"You were the voice," Caroline says getting up.
"Yes I was. Now let's not have this hybrid suffer anymore," the woman says flicking her hand.
Klaus' splitting headache disappears as fast as it began. Klaus slowly gets up as he observes the woman from head to toe.
"Follow me love birds," the woman says walking away deeper into the forest.
Klaus is on high alert as he places himself between this mysterious woman and the woman he loves.
Klaus and Caroline follow the woman into a small house made of stone. The house is one floor with a kitchen, living room, bathroom and one bedroom.
"Please make yourself at home," the mysterious woman says.
"Let's cut to the chase. What are we doing here? Do you have a cure or are you just wasting our time," Klaus says.
"Klaus be nice," Caroline says behind him.
"No worries Caroline. Everyone knows klaus mikaelson has no patience. I gained you a day didn't I," the witch says.
"Am I supposed to thank you for toying with us. Giving us hope that you may have the answer we are looking for because I am not going to thank you for that," Klaus says.
"Well then let's cut to the chase then. The universe needs you Klaus mikaelson," the woman says.
"The universe needs me? That's funny! I have been told countless times in the past thousand years how I am an abomination even by my own parents," klaus says.
"Well the witches came to me and gave me the power to extract the hollow from you. However there is one thing."
"There is always something with these bloody witches. What is it?"
"They didn't tell me. All they said was that you and Caroline will know when it happens."
The witch then magically binds klaus to a chair and starts to chant. The hollow starts to come out of klaus and into a box the witch is holding. Once the spell has worked Klaus and Caroline leave without more than just a thank you. That lady never even introduced herself.

As Klaus promised all those years ago at a dance at Mystic fall high school, he did show Caroline the world. With their daughters at the Salvatore boarding school safe under Alaric's protection they took advantage and traveled the world. They went to the see the great pyramids in Egypt, went to the see the Coliseum in Italy, the Great Wall of China and finally back to Paris to visit the louvre.
"Klaus where did you put the passports," Caroline yells from the kitchen.
"You know you don't need to yell I can hear you clearly even if you whisper. Can I know why we need to take the plane?" Klaus says entering the kitchen passports in hand.
"Because it's what normal couples do. Plus  first class is amazing!" Caroline says taking the passports  from him.
"I can think of only one thing normal couples  do that I like," klaus smirks.
Klaus starts to kiss the back of Caroline's neck. He turns her around and they start to make out. Just as he is about to pick her up they hear something.
"Did you hear that?" Caroline asks.
"Probably the neighbour," Klaus says eager to get back to kissing his one true love.
The noise gets louder and starts to turn into a cry.
Caroline pushes past Klaus and opens their hotel door. Right there in a small basket is a baby. Caroline's mother instinct kick in and she picks up the baby from the basket. She walks into the kitchen with the a calm baby on one hand and a basket on the other.
"Who's baby is that?" Klaus asks.
"I don't know the baby was left at our door in this basket. Check if there is a note," Caroline says handing Klaus the basket.
Caroline starts to rock the baby back and forth remembering the times she use to do that for Lizzie and Josie. She is about to remove the blanket the baby is in when she realizes that's the only piece of clothing the baby has on.
"There is no note," klaus says after thoroughly checking the basket.
"It's a girl," Caroline says wrapping the blanket tighter so the baby does not freeze.
"What do we do?" Klaus asks.
"Remember a couple of months ago when that witch told us the universe needed you. What if it had to do with this baby?" Caroline asks.
"Caroline we can't just to keep a baby that is not ours," klaus says.
"Oh come on Klaus why not? The both of us are great parents. You are a great father to Hope, anyone  can tell by how much she loves you. Not to sound cocky but I'm a great mother to Lizzie and Josie," Caroline says.
Klaus chuckles at her arrogance, but she's not wrong. Klaus always puts Caroline right below Hayley when it comes to motherhood and Hayley is an outstanding mother in his eyes.
"We can do this Klaus! Be parents together and start from scratch. How bad can it be the second time around," Caroline says staring down at this beautiful baby girl with these beautiful blue eyes.
Klaus looks between Caroline and the baby girl in her arms. The love Caroline already has for this baby is undeniable. Klaus could never say no to Caroline.
"What would you like to call her?" Klaus says.
Caroline smiles knowing that the hybrid caved and is allowing her to keep the baby.
"I was thinking Luna Hayley Mikaelson," Caroline says.
Caroline knows how much Hayley means to Klaus and her one year death anniversary is coming up that's why they were going to Mystic Falls to be with Hope.
"I would like that very much," Klaus says that looking down at the little girl.
"You want to hold her?" Caroline asks.
Caroline hands Luna to Klaus.
"Hello Luna, I'm Klaus your new dad," Klaus says.
The baby girl grabs onto Klaus's index finger and in that moment Klaus knew that between Caroline, Hope and Luna his world is always going to be run by girls.
