Learning How to Scream

Chapter five: Part One

Bay's Point of view:

"Come keep me company, Babe." I heard Brianna talking on the phone. No doubt she was talking to Jason. "Yes, I have my own room."

After Jason arrived, James and I went upstairs, Brianna went to her room with her visitor, and Josh went to his with his girlfriend.

"Josh has a girlfriend?" James asked as we climbed up the stairs to the bedroom.

"I don't even know her name..."

"Okay then..."

I went to the bathroom and changed into a pair of pajama pants and walked into the bedroom to see James in only boxers.

"Um..."

"Yes?" He asked slipping on a pair of pajama pants quickly.

"Nothing." I smirked. He raised an eyebrow as he turned on the flat screen that hung from the wall.

"What do you want to watch?"

"Anything but Horror." I replied.

"That's probably a good idea since I don't want you to have nightmares."

He put in the Vow from my mother's collection of movies and sat down next to me on the bed.

I Snuggled beneath the covers, and fell asleep with my head against his chest.

James' Point of View:

I heard her light breathing by the end of the movie, so I reached for the remote and turned off the television. I turned off the lamp on the side of the bed, and laid down beside her.

Not even two hours later, she was kicking my legs and tossing in the blankets.

I drowsly opened my eyes and pushed her gently.

"James?"

"Yeah, you awake?"

"Yeah."

I wrapped my arms around her tightly and we fell back asleep.

I heard her scream upstairs and I quickly ran to help her.

"Bay!" I called to her.

"James!" she screamed.

I got upstairs but it was too late. He had already gotten her. She was dead and bleeding still on her bed.

"James!" she called me. But she was dead?

"James, wake up!"

I opened my eyes and saw her shaking me.

"I'm up." I replied.

"Did you have a nightmare?"

"I think so."

Bay wrapped her arms around my chest and layed back down.

"Tell me everything will be alright. close your eyes and sleep with me, tonight. Tell me that you won't just fade away, cross my heart and hope to die, tonight I will dream my pain away." she sang the lyrics over and over until she fell asleep.

I woke up again, she was groaning and struggling under my touch. I sat up and let her go. She kicked and began to scream.

Brianna burst throught the bedroom door with Jason following. She jumped onto the bed and shook Bay until she became concious.
