Yuna smiled to herself as she opened the  picture message Namjoon had sent her.

Sending back a quick silly text as she tossed on her tennis shoes and headed out her front door to check her mail, she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket and she pulled it out, surprised to see Namjoon had replied so quickly. Stopping right outside of her apartment building, she opens her text message from him.

Her brother Min Yoongi had introduced the both of them when Yuna went to visit him at his studio, bringing him some take out during one of his late night recording sessions. After Namjoon had left to finish off some other projects, Yoongi turned towards Yuna with a sly smirk.

“You’ve always had a thing for him, don’t you try and lie to me.” Yoongi’s gummy grin flashed quickly as Yuna tapped him on the shoulder playfully.

“Hajima Yoongi, he might hear you!” Blushing quickly before she got ready to leave, Yuna heard Yoongi laugh as he hugged her tightly before she reached the studio door.

“He’s long gone so no worries. Something tells me you two might get along. Want to come to the photoshoot and hang with all of us tomorrow?” Yuna shook her head yes immediately in agreement.

“We need to talk.” Yuna wrinkled her eyebrows in confusion as she tried to process what Namjoon had replied back. A quick whistle made her look up to see Namjoon leaning against his black 2017 Lincoln Continental parked in front of her apartment complex. His intense, yet thoughtful look as he studied Yuna made her breath catch a little. Sure they flirted back and forth, but BTS had been busy on tour and she wasn’t able to see anybody in the group except through FaceTime. But she made sure to make extra time for Namjoon after everyone else was done talking to her. Seeing him in person after so many months had her knees feeling weak.

“You look so beautiful today.” Grasping her hand and kissing it gently, Yuna’s heart fluttered as she bit her lower lip slightly to keep her nerves in check.

“Where’s everyone else at?” She asked curiously as the smell of his cologne crept into her nostrils and a tiny sigh of happiness crept out as he hugged her.

“They are back at the dorm, Yoongi told me he figured you wouldn’t minded being picked up by the God Of Destruction, plus he seemed to know your routine so I just went by what he told me….he’s still salty that I accidently broke his Kumamon cup I guess.” Namjoon ackwardly grinned as he opened the passenger door for Yuna. She tucked her mail in her purse and sat down in the passenger seat, watching as he walked back over to the driver’s side. She couldn’t help but check him out a little as he fixed his belt before getting into the driver’s seat.

As they traveled across town to the dorm, the ride there almost became too ackward. Namjoon nervously swallowed as he tried to find the words to express what he felt towards Yuna.

“C'mon, it’s either now or never.” He thought to himself, stealing a quick look over at the girl who had his heart from the first time he saw her at Yoongi’s studio.

Anybody who knew him saw that he cared a lot for Yoongi’s sister, perhaps something deeper than that. But there was only one way to find out and he had wrestled with the right time to talk with Yuna about it. That perfect time had arrived.

“Yuna, we’ve been friends for a while right? I’ve been wanting to talk to you about something that’s been on my mind for most of this last tour.” Namjoon’s voice was calm, yet slightly wavering as he maneuvered through the side streets and found a parking spot in the back parking lot of the dorm.

“Yeah, almost as long as BTS has been together. What’s bothered you so long Joonie?” The nickname that everyone used, but only when she said it, made him melt. She tilted her head curiously to the side as he nervously fidgeted with a ring on his middle finger.

“I was wondering if you were busy a little later on after you see the rest of the boys. I know this isn’t the best time to confess, but I’ve liked you since we first met, but I’ve only gathered up the courage to say something now.” His eyes searched hers to find any possibility of the same feeling back, but he quickly looked down out of insecurity.

Her hand slowly touching his shoulder made him lean up to see a relieved smile.

“Namjoon, I thought you would never confess. I’m not busy at all later on.” Leaning close to Namjoon, Yuna’s heart was racing as they started to close the gap that was between them. Just as they were about to kiss, Namjoon’s phone rang. Seeing the name of the person who called, he groaned quietly before answering it and putting it on speaker phone.

“I know it doesn’t take that long to pick up my sister….where y'all at?” The teasing sound in Yoongi’s voice made Yuna speak up.

“There was a little traffic Min Min….we just parked. We’ll be up there soon. Bye!” Yuna quickly pressed the end button on Namjoon's phone to hang up on Yoongi before he could have a chance to reply.

“Eh, I’m not scared of him. Let’s head inside.” Yuna exclaims, laughing at the surprised look on Namjoon's face as they head inside the building and get into the elevator. As Namjoon hits the floor button for the dorm and the doors close, he quickly turns towards Yuna and softly pushed her back against the elevator wall.

“I’ve been waiting years to do this.”

Leaning in towards Yuna, he was surprised at how soft her lips were as he poured out his feelings into the kiss. Her arms quickly wrapped around his shoulders, her hands pulling his head closer to her to reciprocate the feeling.

The sudden ding of the elevator as they reached the dorm quickly broke them apart as they fixed their clothes, the doors sliding open to reveal Taehyung waiting like an excited little puppy while holding a stuffed teddy bear, seemingly oblivious to what had just happened.

Picking her up and swinging her around quickly, he hands her the teddy bear and flashed his famous boxy smile.

“Noona, I’ve missed you! Come in, everyone wants to see you.” Grabbing her hand and dragging her to the door, she looked over at Namjoon who could only shrug his shoulders helplessly as she gave him a pleading look while she was led through the front door of the dorm.

This was definitely going to get interesting.
