Journal log #3

After sneaking around the area that I have awoken from and washing and drinking the stream water while sneaking around, it looks like a ruined hive city but not that advanced from the looks of it, the plantation has taken over, really large trees that crept onto ruined buildings and there's a gentle stream of water under what it appears a broken roadway bridge whatever you call em that leads to a tower, could it be a signal tower or something that you can connect a power line to. But who knows, what matters is I'm alive at the very least and didn't get swallowed up by one of the Chaos gods.

There is also a bridge leading over to a very large building but I'm quite unsure wether to explore it right now or not since I have no place to settle down and I swear by the Emperor that this place is a lot better than staying in a hive world, I don't have to worry about the fucking money and find myself living in the slums with a lot of disease ridden folks. Well since the water was clean compared to other places I've been through might as well gather some to boil and clean the blood and grime off my face cause by the Emperor that feels refreshing!

I would say this place is like a paradise world but with no hospitality from other folks since there was none, so I'm all on my own in this... planet..? Well I do not know what planet I'm on but it has some wildlife in it that doesn't go after my blood the moment it saw me or even the vegetation.

There are some... creatures on four legs that are larger than me of course, they thread on the ground like I do, not a reptilian like those groxes that I saw the other day, and are not immediately hostile to me the moment we encountered. So there's this one with long legs with horns and there's this fat one with tusk, well now I have a source of meat of hunt and a stream of water that I can boil into drinking water I'm all set to settle here but now I need a building to hide in from the elements and store my stuff in.

Now all I need now is a good source to gather ammunition but unfortunately I doubt I could find some way to charge my power packs for my Lasgun around these parts, soon I'll run out of ammo and I don't have anything to shoot with unless I found a replacement or a way to recharge my power pack, I'll check around to find my new shelter for myself here and then I'll go and wonder to find something to use for hunting.

Well fortunately I found a nice looking ruined building that I can settle my ass to and store my shit in, but I found some bipedal robots with round heads with weird feet that you would find in a wind-up toy. Well I'm quite unsure about those things but whatever it is... it's an abomination to the Emperor. I'll just sneak around from those things since I have limited amounts of ammo and I'm not gonna risk my life and wound up dead again, well thank the Emperor that I was given a second chance.

Now that I have place to stay I'll go looking around for some materials to make my life easier to say the least, but I'm feeling like I forgot something. Turns out I have my radio with me but unfortunately it was broken, probably from that one time from the grenade blast. Sucks to be me I suppose.

I'm sure I'll be okay if I just keep myself out of view from those things and a stable way to sustain myself, it may be a nice place compared to the other places I've been to but from what I have experienced I cannot let my guard down, there could be other creatures who might want to maul my ass off or some hostiles that I cannot really face alone. For now I must lay low and place my faith in the Emperor for he shall protect me from any xenos that I will face in the future, but now thinking about those bipedal machines that I saw earlier I might scavenge some parts from it and probably upgrade my arsenal a bit but I doubt I can take one down just yet. Maybe find answers to how I got here and not dying along with my comrades on that xeno-filled planet.

Journal Log #4

So I'm having issues with hunting meat since I have to save up ammo for the time being I gotta make do with making some throwing spears, There's some decent sticks that I can use as spears and I have my bayonet to sharpen the point.

Now I have means to hunt for meat and I just found some fish near my home, now I can spear fish and bring down some big games for me to eat and maybe skin their hides so I can get myself a blanket, wouldn't want myself to die from cold now eh? But as I explore further around this ruined city I can't help but wonder what was it like before it succumbs to ruination, what caused this world to end and those bipedal abominations to roam around and possibly attack me, there were vehicles here that looked VERY ancient in design but no attachments to it for use of combat, Well if someone were reading this I know you are probably getting sick and tired of my ramblings but this is my journal so can't really blame me and I doubt someone would probably read this and it can somehow understand low gothic.

After a while I stumbled upon an encampment of some sort just in between some ruined building with some barricades possibly keeping something out I assume and a tent to shade the entrance, it could possibly be other guardsmen regiments so I would ask for their aid and ask for some supplies but I cannot be sure at the moment. It could be a hostile territory and what Emperor knows who they were, could be xenos or even those damned traitor guardsmen. For now I have to keep my distance and see what they are, better safe than sorry.

I made it back home with no issue whatsoever, My home for now is more difficult to be found and reach by those mechanical scums. If I have a lot more ammo to spare I could just shoot them from here for being the abominations they are, but I won't since I have to preserve my ammo for emergencies. Exterminating those things can wait I suppose...

This night was decent, I caught a few small fresh fish to cook and eat but it wasn't much. I have a place to put my flak armour, my lasgun, and my other gear. I can rest easy for the night and worry about that camp later on.
