Mullai was shocked to see him in the room, she immediately backed to the wall and stuttered,

She jumped out of her skin hearing his booming voice but didn't answer him anything. Tears brimming in her eyes, she continued to survey the floor.

M Mindvoice : Ivugha mattum irukaghela? Ayo pochi! Ennanu Solli samalipen? Inthe sidumoonji kithe eppadi solluven? Summave thithuvaghe... Ippeh ithu therinja?! Setten! Ayo kadavule.. Enneku mattum yen ippadi'lam nadakuthu..?

He took few strides in the room to check for any bags left and out of instinct she moved further in, away from him. Kathir was taken aback to see her behaviour and stopped moving forward.

K Mindvoice : ippeh enna panithumnu ippadi bayandhu velaghi pora?... Hmm! Cheh! Enne tappa nenekirthe veleya pochi ivalku!

Feeling hurt and insulted, he turned to walk away but he heard a sniffle.

M Mindvoice : enne ippadi oru nelemelku kondu vanthethiye Kadavuleh... Naa eppadi solluven.. Ivugha vere ulleh varaghe... Varadighenu sonna tappa nenechipaghe... Aana... Naa irukure nelemeleh....

A drop of tear graced the cold cemented floor of the age old house.

His frozen feet took a step back and looked at her fidgeting toes. Something wasn't right. Then, another drop fell on her toe ring. He exhaled deeply, and calmed his senses. Slowly, from the wet toe ring, his eyes scanned up to her bowed head. Clenched fists on either sides, back glued to the wall, she looked miserable though he couldn't see her face. He saw few more drops of tears wetting her toes again and her shoulder shook slightly.

K : ey... Ennachi..yen...yen...aluvureh?

He sensed something wasn't right with her behaviour and it seemed he may not be the reason,its something else. What's bothering her?

M : onnum illeh... naa...naa... Varle neenge pongeh...

She told with a shaky voice, still looking down.

K : enna aachi'nu kethen..

He asked taking few steps closer to her.

M : ingge irende poriyila?! Athan varlenu solrenleh!

She have no choice but to shout at him than telling him the truth.

Hearing her shout of anger, He realised he was wrong after all, it's him. He is the reason! His presence was disturbing her, his proximity was bothering her and  to think that just few minutes ago he was genuinely worried for her? How stupid of him?! How much more she will insult him?!

She must have hated him to the core for her to have such reaction towards his mere presence!

Why was she doing this this him?!

He stepped foot in the room, and she backed like a frightened little cat.

He was genuinely worried for her and wanted to know what's bothering her, if everything was alright but she snapped at him and cried!

There she stood shivering in fear with tears in her eyes because of him?!

She sniffled again, a little louder this time.

Mullai's breathing stopped for a second hearing his remorseful words.

He took a step back angrily and something pierced him.

K: ah..!

M : Ayo.. Paathunge!

This woman is confusing him on so many different levels! Just few minutes ago, she chased him out of the room and now she is worried for him?

However she still chose to stand at the same location maintaining the distance between them. Not a step closer was taken from her feet.

K Mindvoice : Akkaraiya iruka... Aana appehyum distance maintain pandra... Iva kannuku nambe eppayum Villain thaan poleh... Hmm... Hero'va onnum paakeh vendam... Manasenah paata podum... Ithe eppadi iva kithe solven..
