Chapter 20: Calling the police

Soon, somewhere around 2 a.m., Luka and Marinette are asleep. Suddenly, they heard a loud thud, Marinette woke up first and she looked around too.

Marinette: Luka, wake up. *Luka woke up. *

Luka: (yawning) What? What's wrong?

Marinette: I heard something.

Luka: Heard what?

Marinette: Must be in the living room.

Luka: I'm gonna go check it out, be right back. *He gets out of bed and heads to the living room and he uses his flashlight and looks around too. But blow in the hole, it's Adrien. * Hey! What are you doing here?

Adrien: What are you doing here? I thought this was Marinette's apartment.

Luka: I moved in with her. Why are you here?

Adrien: I'm gonna kill you. You took her away from her, now... I'm gonna get rid of you.

Luka: I'd like to see you try! *Adrien charged at Luka and they both start to fight, Luka kick him in the dick, and Adrien moaned, but that didn't stop him yet, he punch Luka in the face and push him off of him. Marinette gets out of bed and sees what's going on. She gasped as she saw Adrien fighting Luka. Adrien started choking Luka, Marinette looked around and spotted an umbrella, she grabbed it and hit Adrien in the head with it, he exclaimed and pushed Marinette out of the way, Luka double kicked him on the stomach and he got up and went to Marinette. * Baby, come on.

Marinette: Why is he here?

Luka: I don't know. *Adrien made a sneak attack move and strangled Luka again, Marinette tried pulling Adrien apart, but Adrien punched Marinette in the nose. Luka elbowed Adrien in the knee and stepped on his foot. Marinette went into the kitchen and got a knife and she stabbed Adrien 10 times until he collapsed on the floor and started to slowly bleed out, she looked shocked and she dropped the knife and started to tear up and cry, Luka got up and he comforted her. Suddenly, the sound of broken glass shattering appeared again, Luka and Marinette looked at the window and it was broken, he looked at what was on the floor. It was a rock. He looked out the window and saw who threw the rock, it was Lila again. * 'Can this night get any worse?'

Marinette: What was that?

Luka: Lila. Call the police.

Marinette: Okay. Just... don't do anything, please?

Luka: Okay. *He kissed her on the forehead, Marinette got her phone out and called the police. *

112 Operator: (through the phone) 1-1-2, what's your emergency?

Marinette: (on the phone) A man broke into my house and tried to kill my fiancé and somebody broke my window.

112 Operator: (through the phone) Okay. Who do think broke into your house?

Marinette: (on the phone) Adrien Agreste. He's lying on the floor, I think he's dead.

112 Operator: (through the phone) Dead? Why?

Marinette: (on the phone) I stabbed him, he was strangling my fiancé. *She sniffled and wiped her tears. *

112 Operator: (through the phone) Okay. Don't worry, paramedics and police are on their way. Who else was there?

Marinette: (on the phone) A girl named Lila Rossi. She's breaking my window. I-I-I don't know if she's still outside or not.

112 Operator: (through the phone) Okay. They're on their way. What's your address?
