Part 01.

Third Person's POV

“Hirayah, catch!”

At the backyard, from the top of the wall where Vanna was, she threw her bag at Hirayah who had also catched it.

“Kerinn, Ethan, kung inaalalayan niyo kaya akong bumaba rito para mabilis na? Hindi 'yong nakaabang lang kayo riyan, amp!”

“Alalayan niyo na bilis! Mamaya makita pa 'yan ng parents niya, hindi na 'yan makakasama sige kayo,” said Hirayah.

Pumuwesto naman ang dalawang binata malapit kay Vanna and they then helped her to get down.

“Hay, ang hirap talaga kapag 'di ka malaya. Ang hirap kapag sobrang higpit sa'yo ng parents mo. Tara na bilis!” aya ni Vanna.

Hurriedly, they ridden to Kerinn's own wrangler jeep and then immediately shoot ahead back to brothers Kerinn and Alex's home, the meeting place.

“Where are the others?” Lloyd asked a question that had just come. He then intentionally take a look at his wrist watch, meant knowing the time.

5:30 AM

“Akala ko ako na lang ang late.” Using the index finger, he brushed his hair next to the ear before walking to his friends.

“Sinusundo nila si Vanna,” Angela answered, emotionless. She's busy using her cellphone.

“Ay dating gawi pa rin ba? Tinatakas ulit? Well, mahirap nga namang magtakas.”

“Oh! They are here na!” Jerlaine exclaimed, now standing and pointing to the oncoming wrangler jeep.

“Oh ano gora na?” Angela babbled out the moment two wrangler jeeps faced each other, excitement is evident in her face that you thought lately, she had no interest for the event and she's just fine enough using her cellphone throughout the day. “Ay wait, Coline isn't here yet!” she noticed.

“Baka nag-back out?” opinyon ni Alex.

“Actually, shookt ako no'ng nalaman kong kasama siya, I mean diba hate niya Road Trips? Galing magpapayag nitong si Angela ah?” Vanna seconded.

She then jumped off out of the vehicle she was in and went on the other one with her backpack on her back.

“Baliw—” Angela who was at her mid sentence cut herself off when she saw a familiar physique. “Oh andito na pala siya!”

They all turned their gaze and pay attention on a one direction and a friend welcomed their sight, Coline.

“Pasensya na late. May mga binili pa ako eh,” she excused.

“Ang dami mo yatang dalang gamit sis? Pang 1 week Road Trip na 'yan ah?” Lloyd joked and the whole place filled with their laughter.

“Loko! Syempre dinamihan ko na ang pagdala ng mga foods, para naman hindi nakakahiya sa inyo. Teka saan ba ako sasakay?”

“Dito ka na lang at ikaw Vanna, tutal nandiyan ka na. Diyan ka na lang sumakay kina Alex,” said Kerinn.

Coline put all her things down to the vehicle before getting on it, while Vanna was with Alex and four other friends.

The first wrangler jeep was made up of five people: Vanna, Angela, Jerlaine, Lloyd along with Alex who will drive. The second one contained four people: Hirayah, Coline, Ethan and lastly, Kerinn who will serve as a driver.

When all had been settled, they started to tepefying the engine and later, drove the wrangler jeeps to a convenient store.

“Sure ka? Hindi ka talaga sasama sa loob?” Angela asked, still hoping for Coline's consent to come along with them inside, convincing to buy some snacks and drinks for the Road Trip.

“Wala na naman akong gagawin sa loob, diba nga? Marami na akong dala kasi bumili na ako kanina bago pumunta?”

“Okay if you say so, tara na guys,” said Angela and they walked inside the convenient store while Coline left alone outside with the two wrangler jeeps.

“Are you fine?” Alex asked Jerlaine na halatang wala sa sarili dahil tulalang nakatitig lamang sa sitsiryang hawak hawak.

She just looked at her boyfriend and then shake her head, saying nothing is wrong.

“Sana all may jowa.” Angela whose standing behind them, looking for some snacks to buy murmured as if teasing the two love birds.

“Ano bang gusto mo rito?” Kerinn asked, referring to the two different drinks he's holding.

“Ask them,” Hirayah responded.

“Hindi naman 'to para sa kanila, para sa'yo 'to.”

“Ayieeee, makikire,” pang-aasar ni Vanna na kasalukuyang katabi ni Hirayah sa pagpili ng mga snacks.

“Just buy them both,” Ethan suddenly insisted and then went to the counter area right after.

Sinundan at hindi naman inalisan ng paningin ni Angela ang binata hanggang sa makaabot ito sa counter.

A small curved formed in her lips and went near Vanna then whisper, “Do you think Ethan likes Hirayah?”

“I think so? Haha.”

“Obviously right? Look, he looks like a jealous potato.” And they both laughed.

“Malapit na mag 6:30, bilisan niyo na,” sambit ni Alex nang madaanan niya ang mga kaibigan.

Natigil ang dalawa sa pagtawa at mabilis na tinungo ang counter. Sinundan naman sila ni Kerinn.

“Where's Hirayah?” asked Angela. “Wait, tingnan ko lang do'n,” paalam niya at iniwan na nga ang mga kaibigan para hanapin si Hirayah.

“Hoy babae! Anong ginagawa mo riyan? Nagbabayad na sila ro'n oh, tara na!” sigaw niya kay Hirayah na nakatulalang nakatingin sa labas.

“Tara na.” Hindi na nakapagsalita pa si Hirayah ng hilahin siya nito.

“So, are you guys ready to ignore the world?” tanong ni Alex sa mga kaibigan. Nakasakay na silang lahat sa sasakyan at nakahanda na ito para umandar.

“Ready!” sabay sabay nilang tugon kasabay ng pagpapatugtog nila ng malakas na music at pagpapatakbo ng sasakyan papunta sa main place na pag-ro-road tripan nila.

“Wait for us, Halda Highway. Laesa-Mountain Province Road. Yuhoooo!”
