I hope classes would be back soon. I mean, not the normal classes because I dread that, but our dance classes. In that way, I get to see Ms. Manoban once again.

Why do I need to wait for two more weeks? Why does it have to start on the third week? Why not now?

I'm so cranky today. I whine like a child and eomma and appa are getting somewhat annoyed by me already. I can tell it. Parents may love their children but there are times where they just want to put some kind of tape over their mouths just so they could shut up. And that's the look that eomma and appa gave me.

I'm overreacting, aren't I? I mean, Ms. Manoban has been my one great only friend so it's natural for me to look forward on seeing her. But am I acting too much? I started to get on my parents' nerves.

After a few more nonsense babbling and whining, appa had enough. He gave me some money and told me to go somewhere to sulk. He told me that I make their ears bleed.

Mianhae, appa. But I think I might just use this "whine like a child" tactic so they'll give me money. And I'll use that money for food. Food is life.

With the money in my pocket and my phone in my hand, I walked over to the closest café that I found a few days ago. It turned out that it was just newly opened.

Great. I'm actually craving for some donuts and frappe these past few days. I know that I eat too much sweets but hey, a girl needs her daily dose of sugar.

When I entered the café, a warm aura welcomed me in. It was a vintage style café. Different records from various artists were displayed on one side of the café with a record player beside it. There are also vintage miniature cars that I have a slight idea on about since appa loves cars. As I look at the cashier, the girl behind the counter looked so friendly. Actually, all the staffs that I've seen so far look nice and approachable.

At the far end of this café, there's a few bookshelves where I spotted some adults reading some novels while drinking a warm cup of coffee. I knew it was warm and not that trendy ice-cold coffee cause every time they take a sip from it, their glasses get all fogged up, if that's how you call it.

The song that is being played is jazz. Those type of songs that your grandpa or grandma would usually play. And to tell you, those songs calm me down. I'm not sure why but I feel the sense of comfort whenever I hear one of those songs. It's probably because I remember those times when grandpa would dance with me when I was little or when I would play with my toys in front of grandma who is knitting a scarf for her beloved husband as soon as the sun sets, her favorite jazz song on the background.

Wow. I do love this place now. It brings so much memories and I just love the smell of food.

I stayed at the café for about an hour. I should not tell my parents that I finished 5 donuts, 3 baguettes, and 2 frappes in that time frame.

It was getting dark so I decided that I should stop my mini gluttony moment. As I was about to exit the café's door, someone called me and oh. I have never been this surprised and happy in my entire life.

Just a few steps away from me is a smiling Ms. Manoban holding a tray of food.

Her and I started talking to each other and caught up when an unknown girl came to our table and joined us. Her and Ms. Manoban seem to know each other because why would someone sit on a stranger's table without saying anything, right?

As I scan the unknown girl's face, I instantly felt relaxed. Her facial features and how animated she talks tell me that she's a great person. I knew from that moment that she's trustworthy and we could potentially be friends. That is if she would like us to be.
