Ah! Today's the day! Today was the day that I have waited for so long. It's the day where all of our hard work would pay off. I have heard from people that performing for the final assessment in this dance company is like a step closer to your dreams. Because I have heard that if the evaluators like you enough, there's a possibility that you'll get scouted to join an entertainment agency. That is why, my classmates were so excited.
As for me, this is not just a step closer to my dream. This is actually my dream, to perform in front of mom and dad.
This day started off in a good note. I woke up this morning feeling refreshed. I felt lively. I have never felt this happy and energetic as soon as I wake up. But also, it brought a pang in my heart. I know that Lisa eonnie promised for us to keep in touch. I actually appreciate that. But, seeing her everyday and just texting or calling each other are two different things. I don't want to sound creepy but I love seeing her. I love seeing her smile. I love witnessing how her nose cutely scrunches up whenever she's too focused on something. I love how her eyes squint whenever she observes our steps and moves. I love how animated she talks. I love how her cheeks turn a little shade of pink whenever something slips out of my mouth. She thinks that I am oblivious to that but actually, I see it every time. I just didn't want to say anything about it since I know that she'll be embarrassed by it.
But then again, I didn't want to ruin this whole day. So I took a shower and killed some time. I walked our dog and stayed at the park for a few hours. The event didn't start till 7pm so I still had plenty of time in my hands.
When the clock hit 5, I immediately prepared myself. I took a shower once again and dressed up. As I went down the stairs, eomma and appa were already at the dining table. The two of them were already well dressed when I got down for small dinner because of course, they would come along with me.
The three of us ate happily. We shared stories to each other. And just like the past months, I never forget to tell them how much Lisa eonnie made a big impact in my life. I tell them how she makes me happy. From the times that I talk about her, I'm sure that they have already memorized the details about her. And I'm glad that they are very supportive and happy that I found my happiness in her.
After eating, I was the one who washed the dishes. I didn't want them to do it cause they are already the ones who prepared dinner. And when I finished, the three of us rode on the car, appa drove us to the venue which was on the company's grand auditorium, while eomma sat beside him. On the way there, I can't help but reminisce the day I first step foot on the classy dance company. I never thought that I would make it this far. I never expected that I would really learn and will be able to achieve my dream. On top of that, I never knew that I would meet someone who would change my life for the better. I think, no matter how many times I talk about Lisa eonnie, I feel like I would never ran out of something good to say about her. Because she's just so perfect. She's the epitome of a masterpiece. She's not just breathtaking on the outside but also on the inside. I really admire her perspective in life. I guess, that's the reason why I fell in love with her.
There. I finally said it. I didn't want it to be late for me so now, I'm admitting it. I love her. I love Lisa eonnie. And I love everything about her.
When the car came to a stop, I snapped out of my thoughts. I looked outside the window and read the signage of the company that was written in a beautiful gold mixed with black letters. Under the beautiful moonlight, it looked very pleasing to the eyes.
Appa parked the car and soon, the three of us headed inside. As I looked around, I noticed different families with smiles on their faces. All of them looked very delighted for tonight's event. And seeing that brought a smile on my face.
