(Y/n) quickly evaluated their surroundings. It looked exactly like the arena from Jiro and Koda's match, except (Y/n) could hear in the distance running water, but no Endeavor in sight.
Is there a lake around here? If there is then maybe I should run that way and use it against Endeavor
"Ready. Set. Go!"
(Y/n) quickly ran towards the sound of the water.
I know that my best chance would be to find the exit but if I can get my hands on the water then I will have a big advantage without having to use my own liquids
As soon as the lake was in their sight, they did a full on sprint. Just at they were going to lift water from the lake, flames were directed in their direction. (Y/n) quickly jumped back to avoid the flames. (Y/n) quickly scanned the area and saw Endeavor a couple of yards away from (Y/n).
Shit! I guess he knew that I would go for it
Before another set of flames could hit them, they moved behind a tree. They went further and further into the forest.
At this point I only have two options. Try to find the exist as soon as possible or fight him. I think it's best if I avoid him as much as possible and find the exit
(Y/n) heard a sudden crunch a couple of feet away from them. They quickly froze in their place to not make any sudden noises. They waited into the footsteps faded away. Once they were sure that he was gone they swiftly went to the highest hill they could find. Once they had spotted one, they quickly made there way to the top. Once they made it to the top, they made sure that they were in a crawling position to not be spotted. They quickly spotted the exit but couldn't see Endeavor.
At least the exit isn't too far, I just hope by the time I get there, he isn't there.
"15 minutes remaining!"
Shit! I need to pick up the pace
(Y/n) went down the hill and sneakily made their way towards the exit. They soon saw the exist but also saw Endeavor standing in front of it.
You got to be fucking kidding me?! I feel like I can't get a break. Welp, all there is left is from me to try and sneak around him, somehow. It also seems like I don't have much of a choice, I'm going to have to use whatever water I have in my body. Let's just hope I don't faint before I can beat him.
(Y/n) got behind a tree near to the exit. Their hands started to glow a green. Vines had slowly made their way towards Endeavor but it seemed like he noticed and burned them.
"I know you're close. Just come out and fight me!" demanded Endeavor.
(Y/n) sighed and got out of their hiding place.
Welp, there goes my plan of sneaking around him
They both stood there, waiting for the other to move. There was a sudden rustling noise and Endeavor looked towards the sound. (Y/n) took advantage of this and sprayed him with water. Endeavor was able to dodge most of them but still got some water on him. (Y/n) quickly tried to throw a giant boulder at him and dodge it again, moving away from the exit. (Y/n) quickly tried to sprint towards the exit but before they could make it across, big flames where coming their way. (Y/n) tried to move away but was still hit on their arm. (y/n) hissed from the pain.
"I won't let you go that easy" said Endeavor.
(Y/n) tried to push him away by throwing a big gust of wind at his direction. Endeavor was having a hard time standing his ground. Once (Y/n) saw that is wasn't working as they had hoped, they started to throw water at him. He once again dodge it. (Y/n) tried to catch their breath but Endeavor took advantage of that and charged at (Y/n). (Y/n) felt the wind being knocked out of them. (Y/n) was thrown a couple of feet and landed with a painful impact.
"Just give up, you can't beat me" marched Endeavor.
(Y/n) slowly looked up at him with a glare and Endeavor stopped. Something about their glare frighten him. (Y/n) slowly got up.
"I'm not giving up. I'm not going to lose to some bastard like you" growled (Y/n).
"I'm stronger than you. You can't beat me" stated Endeavor.
(Y/n)'s glare only harden more," I don't care if you're stronger than me. I fought someone that was stronger than me a long time ago but I was still able to beat him, who says I can't beat you too?"
(Y/n) pushed themselves off the ground with a burst of wind. They quickly made their way towards Endeavor but he didn't have much time to react. (Y/n)'s right hand quickly filled water and threw it towards Endeavor. Endeavor tried to move away from (Y/n) but they quickly put a wall of dirt behind him. The wall of dirt started to fall on him and (Y/n) added water to make it muddy. Endeavor struggled to get out of the mud. (Y/n) blew as much wind as they could to harden the mud, so he wouldn't move. For extra measures, (Y/n) added vines around his frame and with what little energy they had left they ran towards the exit. Before they could reach the line, (Y/n) could hear the cracking of the mud. (Y/n) quickly put a shield around their back and crossed the line.
The exit sign lit up. (Y/n) instantly fell to their knees and onto their back. They were breathing hard. As they were catching their breath, Endeavor made their way towards them. (Y/n) turned towards him.
"I won, that means you have to keep your end of the deal" smirked (Y/n).
Endeavor only tched and it made (Y/n) laugh but their laugh was cut short after they had started to cough from their lack of water.
Ugh, I feel like I'm dyingggg, but that means I did it, I beat the number two hero.
Shortly after, (Y/n) passed out.
