"Y/N, may i have a word with you?" Mr. Collins said, "Oh, okay." "Follow me to my office, please." I stood up from my chair and followed Mr. Collins to his office.
"Please have a sit." I sit, "What's this about? Something serious?" i said with a confused face, "No, nothing really. Don't worry. I just wanna tell you that we will have a party this Friday at my place, just to celebrate, because i have seen all your hardwork, and we all deserve a break, and a celebration for all the work you have done." Mr Collins said, "Okay, I'll be there!" I agreed, "So glad you agreed, because other's didn't." "Oh." I frowned, "Well, that's all i have to say. Oh, and, here's the adress of my place, and wear something nice." he handed me a white paper with his address. "Okay." "You may now go." I stood up and left Mr. Collin's room.
"Y/N!" Ben called out, "Ben! I haven't seen you since this morning!" "Oh sorry. Anyways, have you heard about the party?" "Yes. Are you coming?" "I don't know. I'll think about it." "Well, you should come, coz I am! I think it's going to be the best one." I slightly pushed him, "Well, alright then." "Yay!" I jumped and he let out a chuckle.
*party day*
Today's the party, and I'm a bit excited and nervous. No wonder how many people are gonna come, and something bad might happen, but I hope there isn't.
I put on a black vest, a white shirt, with a black belt, a pair of black pants and a pair of black heels, and put on some makeup. My phone suddenly dinged, It was a message from Ben.
Ben:
Need a ride, miss?
I chuckled at how he's being a gentleman. I replied back to him
Y/N:
Sure.
Ben:
Then, I'm on my way.
Y/N:
hahahah, thanks.
Ben:
anything for you, Ms Y/N.
I realized that the friendship I have with Ben has grown so much, we've known each other so well since I started working with him, and I might have feelings for him as well, I hope he feels the same.
I suddenly heard a beep of a car from downstairs, "Y/N! Who is it?" My mom called out from downstairs, "It's Ben! He's giving me a ride to the party!" "Okay! Hurry up!" I quickly get out the room with my purse and went downstairs. I gave Mom, Dad a kiss before heading outside, "Have fun, boo!" "I will!"
"Hey!" I greeted Ben, "Ar- Oh my God, wow, you look good!" He complimented and just stand there in awe and was full of shock, "So do you, Mr Hardy." I laughed, "You ready? Ms Y/N?" He then suddenly kissed my hand, I immediately blushed, "It looks like your blushing, Ms, but it I wouldn't mind. It makes you even cute." He chuckled.
I hopped in inside his car, and was ready to leave.
The whole ride was silent, and a bit awkward, I wonder why.
10min later, we arrived at Mr. Collin's place, It was so big and bright and was full of decorations.
"I bet there's a lot of people." Ben said while getting out of his car, "I thought about that too, but let's just hope we see some familiar faces." I said and Ben nodded with a grin on his face.
We walked in and saw so many familiar faces, and we were greeted by one of our closest officemate, Mina.
"Hey there, you two! Came here together, aye?" Mina greeted, "Yes." I said, and Ben just nodded his head, " You guys look good!" "You dont look bad for yourself." Ben complimented, and suddenly Mina flipped her hair as if she was a mean girl who would always flip her hair at a school, but in a cuter way. "Anyways, wanna hangout?" Mina said, "Sure! We would love too!" "Well, then, let's go here!" we walked into the living room, and Mr. Collins saw us, "Ahh, there you are! So glad you came!" Mr. Collins gave me a hug, "And you too, Ben! You all look good!" Mr.Collins gave us a warm welcome, and it made me feel good, and my nervousness was gone.
"So I bet the two of you came to-" Mina suddenly cut off Mr.Collins, "Oh yes, they came together, as a couple." Mina said and did the finger thing, "Oh, c'mon, Mina. Why do you always have to cut me off and mumble?" We all laughed, "Yes, we came together, and i can say, as a couple." Ben said and let out a little chuckle, "What do you mean by that?" I whispered to Ben, but all he did is just raised an eyebrow at me, and i blushed a bit.
"Anyways, You all enjoy the party, and chill! Toodles!" Mr Collins said, and did the sassy walk, "Wow, he truly outgayed his self." I said, and suddenly we all laughed, "HAHAHA!! THAT'S A FUNNY ONE, Y/N!" Mina slightly slapped my shoulder, and we all kept laughing.
"Y/N, Can i grab you a drink?" Ben said, "Sure! Thanks!" He nodded and stood up to get a drink, "I think there's something about the two of you." Mina said, and gave me a smile, "Oh, stop!" I slapped her arm, "OUCH! THAT HURTS!, but you two match together." I playfully rolled my eyes on her and laughed.
Minutes later, Ben came back with a red cup, and sat down beside me, he handed me out the cup and drink it.
"Y/N? can I tell you something?, but in private." Ben turned to look at me as if it was something serious.
