there they were. right in front of his eyes were his two best friends. dead. he couldn't believe it. he wanted them alive, there, with him. he wished they would've made an excuse and stayed at hq like he said to. but no, it was too late. soon, he felt the anger in him. he knew he had to do something. he went after the titan chewing on the rest of farlan and had no mercy. "DIE" he screams as he goes after the nape. he safely lands on the ground, wiping the titan blood off his face. his eyes showed hurt. they showed pain. they showed loss. soon after that, he knew he only had one thing left to do. to kill erwin. that was his first intention in ever joining the survey corps. they could've all been safe down underground instead of dying in vain by monsters that are so called titans. but erwin knew it all. he knew why they joined the survey corps. and that pissed levi off the most.

it was a year after the death of isabel and farlan, and levi is still pretty upset about it. yet hes still in the survey corps. of course he didn't kill erwin. you helped him realize that erwin has done nothing wrong. y/n l/n was the girl who was always there for levi whenever he needed that comfort. you were really strong. your moves were swift yet delicate. you never failed. if you ever have, you failed as a whole team. you and levi were just friends, nothing more than that. at least you think. but he cares for you just like he did for farlan and isabel. levi is not one to show emotions really. you guys were best friends. you guys were always fighting side by side no matter what. whatever he goes through, you will go through it too. you can feel his pain and hurt all the time whenever you guys talk. and you can understand why.

you were 13 years old when it happened. the day your brother got eaten by a titan right before your eyes. and you couldn't do anything about it. which is why it still pains you to this day. your mother was someone special to everybody in the village. you never understood what she was. not even now. "ella you look so beautiful!" "ella what amazing manners you have!" "ella you have a beautiful family!" "ella please take my gift for you!" ella this, ella that. thats all they talked about. why? not like you cared, but it was pretty weird to you how they only acknowledged her the most. did she do something? what was it? you always had the urge to ask somebody what was so special about your mother, but usually if you went up to someone they would burst out with questions about your mother. titans broke into the walls and you were sent off to a different village behind new walls while your mother had to be left behind. it pained you. losing the last of your family. you were scared for yourself and your mother. what was going to happen to your mother while you were gone? who were you going to stay with? you had so many questions that couldn't be answered at the time. you wish you could just go back in time and prevent everything from happening.

you haven't heard from your mother since that day. you miss her, a lot. but you doubt she's still even alive. the titans were already invading inside the walls as the ship was separating you and your mother.

no one has ever seen your face before. not even when you were a newborn. your family had always kept your identity hidden for some reason. "things turn out better when no one knows what you look like. that was something i had to learn the hard way." those were the exact words you were told by your mother. and so, to this day, no one knows what you look like. just your name. your family kept a lot of secrets. you have no one to ask questions to because you've lost all contact with your family. everyday you try to put the pieces together about the things you don't understand abour yourself. strangely, levi was putting all his trust on someone he doesn't know much about but the name. he vents all the time to her without even knowing her identity. it was obvious she is a girl though, as her body type is no type a man would have. all his trust was on her, and she kept his trust. she never betrayed him. or did she?
