Pyaar Again

Chapter 4

This chapter is completely in flashback. Also, before reading I'd like to say that Rohit-Sonakshi-Raima's past is connected in the same way as in the show but neither has Raima seen Sonakshi come to the farmhouse and nor does Sonakshi know that Raima was there. Also, Rohit and Sonakshi have shared their past during their courtship period, which was a bit different than in the show as Raima hadn't come back then. Other things will be shared through Raima :).

Rohit was checking the last pair of files that lay in front of him, waiting for Sonakshi to show up at the hospital. He had planned a special date for her, away from everyone, to make her feel special and to make her happy. He was extremely excited.

As Rohit read through the last page of the file he held in his hand, he heard a knock on the door. Thinking it to be Sonakshi, he got up from his place and took a rose bouquet that he had specially ordered for her from below his table and stood behind the door to surprise her.

"Come in" He called out.

As the door opened, Rohit placed the bouquet in front of the person on the other side and muttered "I love you Sonakshi", expecting her to just embrace him right away.

To much of his surprise, nothing of that sort happened and the person just pushed the bouquet away from their face, with an expression of disgust. As the face was revealed, Rohit looked on with shock.

"Raima..." He muttered, still not being able to believe his eyes.

"Rohit!" She exclaimed and waved her hands in front of his eyes.

"Raima tum yaha... Kaise? Tum thik ho?" Rohit asked her with concern.

"Tumhe idhar hi baat karni hai?"

"Arey nahi... Come in" Rohit said as he moved aside, pointing her towards the couch and closed the door behind her.

"So... Dr. Rohit Sippy, yeh..." She pointed at the bouquet of flowers in his hand. "Tumhari wife ke liye?"

"Haan... woh" Rohit mumbled with embarrassment. He wasn't sure how much Raima could take in and how much she knew after being in coma for more than 4 years.

"Rohit... I know ki tumne shaadi kar li... It's like everywhere on the internet... Tumhari wife itni famous joh hai... You both have a daughter, right?" Raima moved her hands forward to hold his hands but held back.

"Haan..." Rohit still couldn't believe his eyes. He had so much to ask her.

"She must be so cute na..." Raima looked up at him with tears forming in her eyes.

"Raima tum toh..." Rohit started as Raima cut him off.

"Haan main 5 saal coma me thi... Jab uthi toh Chandigarh me thi, maa baba the saath me... Unhone bataya mujhe ki tumne kaafi calls kiye the mujhse milne ki koshish ki thi but woh tumhe hi blame kar rahe the is sab ke liye... Jab uthi toh main sabse pehle tumse milna chahti thi lekin unhone mana kar diya... I was very hurt par I couldn't do anything... I wasn't allowed to fly you know, lungs weak the and body movements stiff the bohot" Raima told him as Rohit listened to her with concentration.

"Jab mujhe finally maa ne apna mobile use karne diya toh I saw all your messages and calls... Unse hi mujhe pata chala ki you have moved on... Wahi tumhara last message tha na? Then I decided to check the news... 5 saal kaafi bade hote hai na... I needed to know a lot... Then tabhi I saw your picture with Sonakshi... Wahi Sonakshi jiske upar that cheap Karan cheat kar raha tha with my friend... Toh I read the news and mujhe pata chala that you both got married... Fir maine tum dono ke social media accounts check kiye and stuff and pata chala ki you became a father recently... Congrats!" Raima continued. Rohit forwarded a hand to her as she congratulated him.
