Its my birthday so here's some art and a chapter

Stephen's pov

I woke up in a chair that sat in the infirmary of the Avengers compound. It confused me at first until I remembered that I had stayed there to make sure Amanda wouldn't try to leave again.

I looked over at her bed and she was still asleep, the blankets wrapped around her. I sigh before stretching in order to help my aching muscles. Sleeping in a chair was not very comfortable. The cape got up from the back of the chair, floating over to my side. I looked at it.

It pointed towards the bed which I turned back towards and saw Amanda was waking up. She sat up, one hand supporting herself on the bed and the other rubbing her eyes to help wake herself up.

"Morning" I greet. She turns around in surprise, hair whipping into her face at how fast she turned her head. "Calm down. Its just me" I assure her. "What are you still doing here?" she asks, looking over me.

"I was making sure you wouldn't leave again" I explain to her. She looks down at her arms. Those yellows marks weren't as far up her arms anymore but were still there. "Do you know how long that lasts?" I ask. "Depends" she simply states, pulling the covers back and looking at her ankle.

I got up and unwrapped the bandages to look at it myself. She watches me as I remove the medical tape and unwrap the gauze. When its all gone, I have a look at her ankle. There is a lot of dried up blood that'll need cleaning. I get some medical wipes and return to clean away the blood. She lets out a hiss of pain.

"Yeah. It stings" I sigh but continue to clean her wound. When its clean, I look at the wound itself. Its starting to heal up now so that was a good sign. I start to wrap up the bandages. "That wound is healing fast. That's pretty unusual" I mention. "That's why I would have been fine. I've always been a fast healer. I didn't need help" she states. "You had an arrow through your leg. You need to have that removed" I inform her.

She blows at some hair in her face and leans her head against the back of her bed. I finish wrapping the bandages and get some medical tape. I cut a strip and tape the bandages together. "That should do for now" I explain. "Whatever" she mumbles. I sit back in the chair and just wait for a while.
