You smiled when the last guard didn't realized your figure behind the high pillar. You looked around to searched for a gate. A black-colored gate with a silver family's emblem could be seen about 20 meters away from you. You looked around once more. There were guards on patrol since there was a party tonight.
I need to distract them... I need something I can throw to make a fuss...
A meow came from behind you. A black cat looked curiously with its round big eyes. An idea popped up and you took that cat in your hands, "I'm so sorry to disturb your night stroll but please help me escape tonight, will you?" You whispered while staring at the cat's eyes. Then, you threw the cat flying to one of the flower pot.
The cat shriek in high pitch as the guards became cautious. They all came to the source of the voice. Surrounding the broken pot, all the guards attention directed to the moving bushes where the cat ran away.
You smirked knowing your plan went well, "Thank you, Mr.Cat," you whispered again and ran fast towards the gate.
It was a black gate with the family emblem made from silver, placed right in the middle of the gate. There were also some silver roses decorations on it. You pulled the cold metal slowly, made sure to be as quite as possible. When the gate slightly opened, your smile beamed. You slipped your body between the gap and breathed in the cold air of night.
"Good bye, Your Grace Sakuma," you said to yourself before ran on the stone brick path with the moon as your light.

You walked to the nearest town. The town behind the Duke's mansion must be that city known as The Grace of The Night. It was a captivating city with white lanterns hang in front of every shops. Even the vendors brought a white lanterns with them. Looking from far away, this city looked like a sea of stars. There were a lot of tourist strolling around and bought some snacks. You observed carefully.
This city sure changes a lot. I heard it was just a city known for its brute drunkard at night three years ago, but now it become a tourist attraction. The shops that shut their door tight when dusk came now open their door happily. The drunkard was perfectly handled.
You lost in thought as you observed more. You stopped by a vendor and bought a hot bun. You ate while walking around, "Hm... I think I should searched for an inn or hotel..." You mumbled. After eating, you took out your handkerchief then wiped your hands and mouth. You folded them back and put it in your purse.
You turned to a two-floored building and went inside. A woman sat behind the reception desk.
"Excuse me. Room for one person, please," you said.
The woman lifted her head and smiled, "Good night, young lady. I'm so sorry to tell you that we don't have any rooms left,"
You nodded and walked out. There was an alley across the street. You could see a hotel's sign with white lantern on it. You decided to checked out that hotel. Though the hotel's sign looks luxury, it was hidden in a dark alley. A small and narrow alley. As you walked deeper to the alley, the lights from the main street started to faded. You stopped. You felt someone was following you from behind.
"Who's there?" You asked but there were no answers. Only your echoed voice through the alley that could be heard. You became alert. A bang made you looked at the source quickly. Your eyes widen when you saw the hotel's sign and lantern fell down. There was no hotel! It was just a hotel's sign on the wall!
"Hahaha! What a cute lil' miss I have here~"
You turned around quickly. A man was walking unsteady towards you. You could smell alcohols as the man got closer.
