...

Cheers erupt like a storm that has made its appearance before a clear day. My bright eyes widen, turning around in my seat to look out the window of the hoverlimo. A large crowd of people surrounds us, waving and smiling. Reporters stand in every corner and drones fly overhead capturing the news.

"Don't worry, they can't see us."

I turn to sit comfortably again. Tyrus rubs his eyes, exhaustion masking through his tough exterior. We haven't done much, the ride from the private hoverplane was smooth, frightening at first for I had never ridden in one, but enjoyable once I was able to relax and take a nap. Tyrus, on the other hand, had to stay awake for it. I wonder if he even sleeps.

"Hey Tyrus, how did you end up working in the castle?"

His dark blood eyes rest upon mine before they focus behind me. "Lots of hard work."

I sigh, letting the wind drift the pointless conversation away.

"Welcome to your new home," he claims, knocking me out of my thoughts.

My eyebrows scrunch together. I turn to gaze upon the movement outside. Huge golden gates open, guards planted in position stand a little taller as we pass through. Trees stand on every corner, walls masking the world outside.

"Woah," I say, fascinated with the huge mansion that stands before us, a castle of pure gold.

A huge fountain sprouting out gold liquid stands in the center of the enormous driveway as we pull up.

I step out of the hoverlimo. My eyes land on the bodyguards that came with us, blank faces stare out into all directions.

"Follow me," Tyrus instructs.

"Thank you," I tell the chauffer, lost in fascination.

I follow behind Tyrus's enormous figure. The doors open and we step in, the cold hitting me like a slap in the face.

"Meet Racheal, she is your maid while you are here."

I nod, curiously inspecting her dark aura, an immune. I'm not quite certain I feel comfortable with them yet, but I let it go for I am still a guest in this mansion.

"Follow me, princess."

I turn to Tyrus. "Go ahead, I have things to do but will speak with you later," he says, checking his holowatch.

My body follows behind the immune, eyes marveling at the beauty of the palace. We step onto the glass staircase, I look down, the marble floor beneath, visible to the eye.

"Is this dangerous?" I ask.

The Immune doesn't turn around but says, "Why, you scared?"

I think about it for a moment. "No," I convey assuredly.

She turns around, a small smile on her lips, "I thought so."

Surprisingly the fear doesn't reminisce but curiosity of her abruptness does.

She stops at a door, "This is your room, well at least for now."

I step in, the room is wide like I imagine all the others to be but what surprises me is the balcony. I stroll over and open up the doors.

"I am going to leave you to get settled. Oh, and your clothes are in the closet."

I nod, stepping outdoors. "Woah," I utter, surprised to find the beauty of the sea before my eyes. I sit down on the seat in the corner and watch the waves roll in a steady rhythm, every time reaching out but never escaping from its destiny.
