Hinata's POV

"I win, yaaaaaaa," I dive into the gym after racing Kageyama.

"It's not fair, you got a head start," Kageyama remarks.

I ignore his statement and change into my gym clothes. I'm so ready for this practice match against Aoba Johsai. I'm going to fly today.

"I'm ready to beat Aoba Johsai, I'm going to fly, and zoooo-" A ball slams into my face.

"Can you just shut up!" Kageyama screams.

"You didn't have to do that, I'm just excited," I exclaim.

Sometimes Kageyama is pretty rude. I don't really care because he is my teammate and my setter. He brings the best out of me.

"WERE HEREEE!" Tanaka and Noya scream in unison. Followed behind are the rest of the team.

We all greet and get ready for the game. After a couple of minutes I see the Aoba Johsai team walk inside.

I feel bad for Kageyama, his old teammates are on that team, but I know we got this.

We all greet and we're getting ready to start.

After everyone gets ready we line up. Now we're starting. First to serve is Tsukishima.

"Nice serve," Daichi and Suga yell to Tsukishima.

I watch Tsukki serve. The ball flies over the net and is received by their libero.

"Nice Receive!!" They yell.

They set to Kindachi. I wasn't going to let this past. I ran up and tried to block him.

I saw the look in his eye. He looked shocked and terrified that I was there.

The ball smacks my hand making it fly up. Just as I had planned.

"One touch," I scream, Kindachi looks me in the eye and looks infuriated.

I got back to my feet and ran as fast as I could. I jump and Kageyama quickly sets into the palm of my hand. I hit the ball and it flies to the ground.

"Yesss!" I jump in celebration.

After a while, the sets become 1-1. It's tied and we're on the last set. We're at points 22, while they are at 23.

"Omg, omg, ahhh," Girls swoon.

I'm confused, I looked at the door and see a person wearing an Aoba Johsai Jersey.

"I'm sorry for being late," The mysterious man says to his coach.

I looked at him, he catches me and stares back at me.

It feels so awkward, like having a teacher look into your eyes for a couple of seconds.

He doesn't stop staring. I'm contemplating if I should look away or not.

He still doesn't stop and winks. After he smiles.

I'm in shock. Was that for me or not. I look behind me if there was anyone and there was no one. That was for me.

I feel my checks turn red as I look away. I could hear him laugh.

Then Kageyama violently pulls me away.

"Stay away from that guy, Hinata." Kageyama says.

I nod in confusion and get back to the team.

After he gets ready we get back into the match.

The mysterious guy starts to serve, he throws the ball into the air and jumps. His hand smashes the ball making the ball fly. It flies towards Tsukki. The impact was too harsh and it made the ball ricochet off of Tsukki's arm causing them to have the point.

The mysterious man serves again at Tsukki, but Tsukki manages to receive it. It flies into the air.

I'm ready for the quick I run up to the net and jump. I could feel time stop. The ball flies towards my palm. I open my eyes and see him. I aim right next to him. The ball slams in to the ground.

The whistle is blown. We won.

"YAYYYY!!" The whole Karasuno team celebrates.
