The bell rang indicating it was break time. Kongphop walked out of the class feeling lonelier than ever. He had not seen Arthit since morning up until now and he was making a wild guess that Arthit must have skip classes, only will come for the next hours. It was an irritating thought. Although there's improvement in his attendance, he was still the same old Arthit he knew. The boy would only show up after missing three lessons in the row with a cool attitude, like the warning he got was no big deal.
Once Kongphop had brought up about his bad attitude, Arthit simply shifted their conversation, refusing to talk further. Kongphop trusted Arthit to change, to show himself that despite all odds, he can overcome his bad habits because he loved him. However, it was obvious Arthit is not going into that direction and Kongphop was utterly disappointed.
"Drop it! This is not the right time to think about him, Kong." Kongphop told himself as he went inside the dining hall.
He stood for a long time at the entrance. The other students fell into their places, immediately filled all vacant seats. Kongphop was hungry, but he had never really eaten with anyone else except with Aim or sometimes Arthit would randomly come to join him. While his eyes roaming around searching for an empty spot, Earth pick up on this. He smirked as he watched Kongphop closely.
Finally, he settled down at one of the sit he found. He could care less the irritated looks they send him upon seeing him sitting beside them without asking as he certainly didn't have inclination to sit with the others. Kongphop proceed to eat like he hadn't been eaten anything for ages. He was almost through when he noticed the noise had died down around him. He looked up to meet Earth stare while Joss who was standing beside the taller boy suddenly making oinking noise and laughed halfway.
"Tsk...Tsk...Who taught you to eat like that brat?" The mocking in his voice was annoying to hear.
Earth spoke, "Hey, why don't you teach us. We would like to learn how to revolt the whole dining hall without really trying."
"I'm sure that takes a lot of practice. You don't get disgusting like that naturally." Tay leaned forward and glaring at him.
Kongphop made no comment. He knew the boys were always like this, throwing the foods, cursing people and causing big commotion. He was supposed to leave but then Earth holding his arm, "Woah, not so fast."
He pushed Earth roughly, failed to catch that shocked expression as Earth stumbled. Kongphop walked faster. Today was horrible. Enough that he was still feel impotent and angry with Arthit's absence, he was also forced to deal with the unnecessary disturbance. Earth futilely began to chase after him and took a swipe of his feet, whistling as Kongphop became tangled before he tripped and landed flat on his face. His glasses fell off with a crash. This upset him much more than being tripped. Devastated Kongphop stood up.
"Earth!"
Before Kongphop can counter-attack, a loud voice boomed out from the hallway like a bolt of lightning, startling them all.
"Hey, brat! That was not funny. You're done. Pay up, say you're sorry to him and get the hell out of here!" Seeing Arthit who was overcome with arrogance, they stopped.
