——————————————————Izuku POV
I smirked at his anger. I was gonna finally get back at him for years of torture. He was gonna see that I wasn't this so called 'deku'.
"Bakugo sit down." Aizawa was annoyed at the sudden burst of energy.
"Where would you like me to sit Aizawa Sensei?" I looked at Aizawa completely ignoring Bakugo's outburst.
"You were supposed to sit behind Bakugo but seeing that that might be a bad idea I'll be having Yaoyorozu and you switching spots." A girl with black hair in a high ponytail stands up. I assume she is Yaoyorozu, she walks over to the seat I was supposed to take and sits in it. I look at the only seat left and notice I will be sitting next to the one and only Shoto Todoroki. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't happy with our seating arrangements. In fact it was interesting to say the least. Shoto Todoroki son of Endeavor the number 2 hero. This was surely going to be fun. I knew a lot about Endeavor, even how he abuses his family. I didn't know much about his actual family.
"You May take a seat Midoriya." I nod at Aizawa and make my way towards my seat. Everyone had their eyes on me. Except Shoto Todoroki and of course Bakugo. Todoroki seemed to be daydreaming. While Bakugo was so angered he sat in his seat grumbling about the "stupid deku" in his classroom.
I take my seat and look out the window not really caring what we're learning about. That was until I heard we were learning about quirks. My head perked up at this.
Since I was young I've always liked to analyze quirks. Figuring out the pros and cons of a certain quirk. Why a quirk would be useful in a situation and why it wouldn't be. Or how it could be harmful. How a quirk could make you a hero.... I have multiple journals full of quirk information. The only reason why I've been able to get away from pro hero's in the past was because of the information about their weaknesses.
"Today we are going to talk about the pros and cons of our own quirks. You'll have to write down the pros and the cons then come up in the front explaining them." I frown at this. Aizawa knew damn well I would have nothing to say.
I could just say the pros and cons of not having a quirk.... what were the pros again?
"You have 30 minutes to do this. And no, I don't care if you work with partners." With that Aizawa gets into a large yellow sleeping bag.
I look down at my notebook that Aizawa had given to me the night before. What are the pros and cons of being quirkless....?
Not even 5 seconds after Aizawa had gone into his cocoon people were running around the room. I had assumed that Bakugo would be popular like at our old school. Although it looks like there were no 'popular' people here. I looked up to see who everyone was friends with. I was genuinely curious about the friend groups in this class. Everyone here was so.... eccentric.
A boy with bright red hair and a scar under his eyebrow went up to Bakugo. Only for Bakugo to use his quirk to try and blow him up. What surprised me was the boy used his quirk to harden and block his explosions. So his quirk hardens his skin? Possibly the perfect match for Bakugou.... I then moved on to a quirky brown haired girl who was talking to another girl who resembled a frog, along with the robot arm boy from earlier and the girl who switched spots with me. The goodie-two-shoes group. They'll either keep they're distance or try REALLY hard to be my friend.
I heard obnoxious yelling only to turn and see a group of two boys and a girl. The girl was pink with yellow horns and was currently screaming about how drinking straight milk is a sin. While one of the boys with bright yellow hair and a black lighting bolt starts to scream back how he will steal her calcium. The other boy with black hair and tape dispensers for his elbows just sits there crying about how he needs his calcium. How did they make it in this class...? Don't you need to pass a written test? The morons of the class clearly. Yet they could still be strong.
An all too memorable shade of purple hair reaches my eyes as I turn my head. Seeing Shinsou along with a bird headed boy and a girl with headphone jacks for earlobes. They all looked... depressed... The emos. Just because they look depressing though doesn't mean they aren't strong.
Another group were three larger boys. One had brown hair and was extremely tall. The other was some kind of animal...? Maybe a rock? The last had some kind of multiple arms quirk. They looked as though they were the brawn of the class. Possibly strength quirks?
This leaves me to the last three. Someone with an invisibility quirk, a sparkly blonde, and a boy with a large tail. Not sure what gender the invisible one is yet.
I look down as I'm about to start thinking about the assignment when I realize... Todoroki isn't there. I look around trying to find him. Only to find him in the corner of the classroom on the floor. I guess every class does have their loner. I was kind of hoping to be them though...
I must of been looking for a bit too long because Todoroki looks up and stares at me. I quickly turn around and stare at my paper. Shit. Did he notice my staring? Nothing to worry about anyways. Just start with the assignment.———————————————————
