{2} the last war

(Gianna's pov)

It's been a few days since the prank I helped in, I haven't seen jaden since.

Although there's been multiple different pranks that has happened.

Griffin somehow took a selfie while jaden was using the bathroom and posted it online.

Jaden convinced our mother to mess up griffins food, she made it extremely spicy.

It was nearly halfway through the prank wars, I could not wait for it to be over.

A few days later

We were finally on the last day, it was jadens turn I think.

Griffin was practically on the edge of his seat, waiting for Jaden to attack.

I was curious myself to see what he would do.

Seeing as it's probably the last prank war they're having, he's gonna do something big.

My favorite prank so far has been, when jaden bought a spider.

He got a tarantula and Griffin is terrified of spiders.

I've never laughed harder, he nearly peed his pants.

The horror on his face when he saw the spider

I decided to take a walk, the house was stuffy and I needed a break from studying.

It was slowly getting dark outside, I had about two hours until it was completely dark.

I threw on my coat and boots before heading out

Leaves were falling as the sun was setting.

In the air I smelt cinnamon and pumpkin.

I could slightly spell wood burning, my favorite scent.

Brings me back to simpler times, playing outside at my cousins house.

Roasting marshmallows and running around

I've always loved fall, the weather was perfect.

The atmosphere is peaceful, nothing to worry about.

Until they started the prank wars, then I had to make sure I wouldn't slip on grease or have a bucket on my head.

Griffin did alot of classic pranks, the usual ones you'd see.

I often fell in between the crossfire.

After about ten minutes of walking, I found myself in a park.

It brought back a lot of memories.

Griffin, Graham and I used to come here when we were younger.

Jaden would sometimes come too, if his parents would let him.

Often Jaden and I would flirt with each other, it was dumb flirts but only when my brothers were away.

I developed a crush when I was younger, but I've never told him that.

My favorite thing to do was teasing jaden when griffin was around, it would make him embarrassed.

My phone lit up, from a notification

Jaden messaged me.

He asked to meet up, I told him I was at the park where we would all hang out.

I wasn't sure what he wanted, probably nothing good because he still hasn't pranked griffin.

He arrived in fifteen minutes as I was sitting on the swing set.

He walked over and sat on the one next to me

"What's up." I said

"I wanted to see you, before you leave for college again." He said

"Well here I am." I joked

It was getting darker out by the minute

"What's your prank for griffin." I asked

"I'm not sure it's going to be a prank and I don't know if it'll work out." He said

"Do you need help with it or something?" I asked

"Yeah it depends on your answer, it'll be the best non prank." He said proudly

"Gianna." He said

"Yeah Jaden?" I asked in a worried tone

"Will you be my girlfriend." He asked

"I-"

Okay to clear some things up:

Gianna is griffins younger sister, she's 18 and in college in another state.

Tiktok isn't a thing in this story, they're not famous although Jaden is a rising star with his music.

Griffin and Jaden started the prank wars 5 years ago, it lasts one week during fall break.

It was a fun way to entertain themselves

It's an unspoken thing that just happens, one of them will trigger the start with their first prank.

They're getting older and this is their last prank as they need to grow up and move on.

Jaden isn't using the asking out thing as a prank, he genuinely like Gianna and knows it'll shock griffin.

The next chapter is the last, story over after that.
