Jennifer and Laurel Inside The L word

Where It All Began

The night breeze permeated through the intricate 1. 2 million dollar home owned by the actress Jennifer Beals. Her spouse, Kenneth Dixon was splayed out in the living room couch calling for his wife of five years.

"Jennifer. Jen?" His voice echoed through the house. Jennifer had been on the phone with her new director Ilene Chaiken whom hired her for a new project which was to be called The L Word. Jennifer strolled in through the elaborate balcony.

"Yes, Kenneth? I was just on the phone with Ilene, tomorrow will be the casting for the spouse of my character. She was thrilled that Ilene had given her the privilege to have a say in whom gets cast opposite her.

"That's great honey." Her husband had said as he got up from the couch and entered the dining room where the family of two had just eaten supper.

At approximately 9:30 pm Jennifer and Kenneth both entered their chambers and drifted off into a slumber after all Jennifer had a busy day ahead of her.

Laurel's POV

Engaged couple actress Laurel Holloman and Production designer and actor Paul Macherey were clad in their finest designer brand attire. They had enjoyed a night out but had to return early to their home as Laurel had a meeting with television producer Ilene Chaiken for a showtime cable show. She was to meet Ilene as well as actress Jennifer Beals to do a screen test and see if they could work well together.

"Who are you meeting again?" Laurel who had been fantasizing about the meeting looked up from her blackberry.

"Ilene Chaiken and Jennifer Beals, who's already been cast as Bette Porter." Laurel had already met Ilene at the auditions but this was to be the first meeting with Jennifer. She was anxious about the meeting as she had thought her audition had not gone too well. Laurel had read the role of Alice Pieszecki whom was described as a quirky fun character before being asked to read the part of Tina Kennard a rather lighthearted person and a delightful and nurturing caregiver.

Laurel smiled softly at Paul and kissed him on the cheek. "Goodnight honey, I have a big day ahead, wish me luck" that said, Laurel had vacated the living room and went into her chambers to sleep.
