I put on my large hoodie. I didn't expect anything fancy it was just a movie.
Zachary chose this one called Disappearing Act. Something about a creepy ass maze and a portal.
I slowly opened the door of my room. My dad was already blackout drunk on the couch. Typical. It was only 5:49. Ah shit. I need to text Zachary that I'm ready.
Zachary ❤️
Hey I'm ready to go
I waited for an response from him.
And it came right away.
Zachary ❤️
Hey I'm ready to go
I'm on my way <3
You have my address right?
Yes you gave it to me at school remember?
Oh right silly me 😂
The thing was, I don't remember giving him my address. Maybe it just slipped my mind. It happened sometimes.

Zachary's car drove up in front of my apartment. Zachary waved to me and I waved back. I got into the passenger's seat.
"Are you ready?" he asked. I nodded and smiled at him.
"Yes I am! Can't wait to see whatever this is," I responded. I buckled my seatbelt and Zachary started driving.
I poked around the glove compartment and found glasses. They had a golden rim and they seemed to be kept pretty clean.
"Hey are these yours?" I asked showing them to Zachary. His eyes quickly moved back and forth to view them and he laughed.
"Those are old. I don't wear them anymore I just wear contacts now," he responded with a shrug. When he wasn't looking, I put them in my pocket. As Zachary said, they're old. He didn't need them anymore.
As he drove, he put a hand on my calf. I swatted it away.
"Hands off!" I said sarcastically. "At least go on a couple dates with me before you do that." Zachary seemed a little pissed off from my comment. The rest of the car ride to the theater was completely silent.
We entered and went to the room.
I grabbed Zachary's hand and gave him a small nod. He nodded back to me. We went in. Ready for whatever this movie is.

We came out. That movie was both awesome and scary. I was chattering like a monkey.
"The part where the slug thing was digging into his leg that gave me chills! Oh my god they better make a sequel with that type of ending!" I said with excitement. Zachary listened and nodded.
