kaminari yawned and looked around, noticing that he wasn't by your door, but in your room. he looked around for you, but didn't see you.

"babe?" he called for you. but he didn't get an answer. alas, he saw your bathroom door open. he turned his whole body towards you and opened his arms. you got the message and closed the bathroom door, heading into his arms.

"you alright now?" kaminari asked softly. you just hummed and nodded to him, wanting to get some more sleep. the both of you laid back down onto your bed, getting into a comfortable position so they the both of you could lay there without shifting.

"kiki," you called, just above a whisper. "can you sing another song?" you asked him. averting your eyes to look anywhere but his face. kaminari just chuckled and nodded.

"sure. anything for you." he started to hum the music to the unknown song, but you just closed your eyes. waiting for his voice to fill the room.

"dalia never showed me nothing but kindness. she would say "i know how sad you get." 'n somedays i still get that way, but it gets better. it gets better. it gets better! sweetie, it gets better, i promise you. and she'd tell me, she'd tell me-"

"your heart is a muscle the size of your fist. s' keep on loving. and keep on fighting." you continued. "and hold on- and hold on."

"hold in for your life." kaminari sung as he cuddled into your neck, continuing to hum. "ian built a cabin in the woods to live in. he hears terrifying noises 'kept him up at night."

"he kept a twelve guage under his pillow. he's living in boston now, he's going to art school. i forgive him.. i forgive him. hell, i'll admit it, i'm proud of him." you sang more softly.

"serina's an architect and a carpenter. she's such a feminist. she's said she isn't one. just- goddamn! my gender shouldn't matter!" kaminari's grip tightened on you. "motercycles fly through the street of providence. down to the ware house district. the paint job is stunning as her knowledge of medival building techniques."

"your heart is a muscle the size of your fist. keep on loving. and keep on fighting. and hold on. and hold on.. hold in for your life." you bobbed your head slightly to the side before you went back to singing.

"this one goes out to johnny, and knows how to dance. your book is beautiful, fuck anyone who says otherwise. scott, i love you and you make me so glad to be alive. i promise that i'm gonna pay you back. you always know how funny everything is,
even when i'm so serious that it's gonna be the death of me."

"like that one time our friend, chuck, came over to our house. he said he needed somebody to take care of his pets, cause he was going out of town. i asked him where and he said, "new mexico," i asked if i could get a ride."

"he said, "no, you don't wanna follow me where it is i'm going. he backed out of the drive way. it was the last time we saw him. cause he went to his parent's cabin and put a bullet in his head..."

you both sang the chourus a few more times before you both fell asleep. cuddling instead of being separated by a door.
